Chapter 9

" Why are you here? " He growled, he went back to staring at the mirror, but stopped once the girl, or more well known as Emma had appeared from behind the jail bars. " I came to see you. " His glare hardened as he glanced at the brown-haired female who stood frowning behind the metal bars. " Well, I don't have anything to say to you. " He growled again, Emma gulped breathing out before straightening her body. " You don't have to. Just let metal- "

" I don't want to talk to you. " Now he turned his body, staring at her. After all these years the two finally changed, they grew apart and the two no longer looked alike. Emma stopped growing after the wedding. Eren grew taller and towered over Emma like she was a bug. His long hair made him look older and more mature but he didn't look like her Eren. Emma stayed with her babyface, and she looked the same as she did four years ago. " Eren y-you need to understand why I did it. " He stalked towards the metal bars, glaring down at her.
" I don't give a shit! You left! " Her eyes started to water. She gulped and stood her ground.

" You left! " She choked out. " I-I was pre- "
Eren went closer to the bars, cutting her off. " You're a liar! You didn't go because of Levi! Everything is because of Levi! It's always him! " A fresh tear fell down her face, she breathed out trying to stop from crying. " Because you were acting recklessly! You said you wanted me to be happy! Levi makes me happy! " He used his fist to pound against the bars, scaring Emma at the way he portrayed his anger. " I don't want you near me! Stay away! " Emma's eyes widened. He hit the bars again, making her flinch and fall back as the stone walls in the cell began to crack and he continued to yell. " You're selfish! " 

" Nicolo? Are you alright? " I crossed my arms to cover my arms that were left cold from the wind around us. " Is Sasha really dead? " Nicolo sat on the ground, crying in front of Sasha's grave. " Thank you for feeding her lots of delicious foods. I'm grateful she got to witness it. " I looked down at the grave, glancing behind my shoulder to see Isabel and Farlan talking with Hanije and standing beside Levi. " Lady Emma, Conny? How are you guys? You were close right? " I glanced at him, tightening my arms around myself. " Sasha and I were practically twins, it feels like half of me has disappeared.  " I rubbed my glossy eyes and sighed. " Isabel won't stop asking questions." 

A male with two other people behind him walked up, frowning before taking off his hat. Sasha's father. " You are- it seems like my daughter is indebted to you. Thank you for being her friend Ms. Emma. " I smiled and shook the man's hand. He smiled as he stood there In silence at the grave of his daughter in front of him. " Cony! " Isabel ran over, leaving her father and brother behind and running up to Conny who stood there with tears running down his face. " Why you crying? " Conny let out a small laugh and rubbed away his tears, he smiled sadly down at the girl who lifted her arms to be picked up. " Nothing,  I just miss Auntie Sasha. " He picked her up and rested her on his hip. " Don cry! " She slapped her hands on his cheeks and rubbed at his wet tears. 

" Mommy! " Farlan ran over, Hanije following behind him with her hands stuffed in her pockets. " Levi's meeting with Zeke. " Hanije formed a small smile and glanced at everyone who stood at the grave. " How did it go with Eren. " I tightened my arms and stuck my tongue to the roof of my mouth. " He told me I was selfish because I didn't go to Marley with him. Then he proceeded to yell at me. " Hanije frowned, she sighed and adjusted her eyepatch. " He- "

" Changed. " I finished I unraveled my arms from my body. " Yeah we were bound to grow up one day. "

The queen known as Historia sat staring off into the distance. Rocking on her rocking chair in the silence of the day. Her hand resting on her round belly as a man walked out from the house behind her. " Come inside Historia. " He offered, she continued to stare off into the distance. Her eyes filled with nothing. " You have to be more careful with your body. "
