Forced Vampire

Prologue

My name is Lexa. I am at a party with my best friend Nicole. Nicole keeps telling me,

"It's about time you have fun! All you ever do is work or study, so now, it's time for partying!"

She starts dancing in front of me, I can't help laughing at her, she makes me laugh no matter what. Well, my life does consist of work and school. Today happens to be an exception because it's my 21stbirthday.

"Come on Lex. You won't catch a guy if you don't shake that booty!"

Great... now she wants me to dance! She has this thing with guys that I don't understand, she has a new guy every week. I'd say she has commitment issues but she would never admit it. Ok... I start dancing even though I don't like to. I'm not really a party person. I'm quite an ordinary college student, who has to work at the local coffee shop in order for her to make money. I have blonde hair that is always put into a high ponytail. Nic and I are roommates actually and we split the rent. While I have to earn my money, she has hers handed to her. Long story short, her parents are rich. She said she would take care of the rent for us but I refused. I wanted the whole college experience and so, I got a job. When I'm not studying to become a lawyer, I work. Except for tonight. Tonight, I'm like every other person at this club, seeking fun. After dancing for what felt like ages, I decided I needed a drink. I called out to Nic,

"I'm going to the bar! Want something?"

Somehow, she was still as pale while I was as red as a tomato and called back,

"No! I'll keep dancing."

Seriously, once she starts dancing, she can't stop! So, I'm at a club with a girl with green hair. Its not natural but she intended it to be lighter. A lot lighter. I guess that's what you get when you fell asleep with the dye still on. It's fine though, she'll fix it in a few days. For now, she's happy about it and feels exotic. She's not the only one who thinks that, the opposite sex seems to have the same opinion. Here we go, there is already a guy next to her.
