It was the morning when Lexa woke up.

Lexa thought: What the hell? Oh God, I feel dead.

She got out of bed and looked around.

"Oh God...no, no, no. This isn't happening." she said. "It can't be happening. Im...I'm..."

"Hey,you're up." Kai said and Lexa heard him even when he wasn't in the room.

Lexa turned around and was expecting him behind her but she found nothing there. He walked in and Lexa walked over towards him.

"What happened? Why...?" Lexa asked. "Am I...? Did you...?"

"Yes, you're a vampire now. Yes, I turned you." Kai replied. "No, you didn't die."

I'm a...I don't even know how to feel.: Lexa thought.

"Obviously." she said outraged.

And there is the rage...:Kai thought.

"I can't believe you! You turned me into a...a..!" Lexa shouted.

"A vampire, yes. Learn to say it." Kai said calmly.

"I could just...Aaaah! I'm a freaking vampire! This is all your fault! You should have left me alone! I can't believe this. My life is ruined."

"You're being dramatic."

"Dramatic? I had plans, I had a future. I'm in college, studying to become a lawyer. And...and I have a job. I have to go back to school."

"You can't leave the Mansion. Not for a while at least."

"What, you expect me to just stay here?"

"Right now you're unstable..."

"I can show you unstable!"

"...and you're out of control. You have lots to learn before we can let you leave."

"But I have to go to school."

"Not anytime soon. You have to call your friend and tell her that you're staying at your parents' house."

"I can't."

"You have to or questions will be asked. She'll get suspicious."

"I think she'll be more suspicious if I stay at my parents' house, they're dead."

"Oh, sorry. I didn't know."

"How would you? We don't actually know each other."

True: Kai thought.

"Where were you living?" he asked.

"With Nicole, we have a place together. Will I ever get to see her again?"

"Yes, you will. Just not until you're done with your training."

"And how long will that be?"

"Depends on the person."

"Great."

"Here, use my phone. Tell her you're out of town."

"I have a phone. Where..."

"Not anymore. We can't risk it."

"Of course not." Lexa said rolling her eyes. "Do you have to be here?"

"Yeah, can't risk..."

"Yeah, yeah, can't risk me telling anyone. I get it. Do I have to put it on speaker?"

"No, it's fine. I can hear anyways."

"Of course, you have super senses." Lexa commented rolling her eyes.
