Playing Truth or Dare was never a good idea.

Playing Truth or Dare when you're unsure who you have a crush on, unsure who your friends have crushes on, and unsure who has crushes on you is an even worse idea.

Unfortunately, Dex managed to drag me into it. He invited all of us over to his house, and almost as soon as the last parent left, he announced we would be playing Truth or Dare. Everybody groaned, but some of the boys- Fitz and Tam especially- had sparks in their eyes like maybe they actually wanted to play Truth or Dare. Sudden screaming and laughter erupted from upstairs, followed by footsteps, followed by three living, breathing wrecking balls: Bex, Lex, and Rex.

"I WANNA PLAY, TOO!" Rex screamed, shoving his brother and sister aside so he could reach our circle first.

"WELL SO DO I!" Bex yelled, shoving Rex back.

"If you two keep fighting then I'll get there first," Lex said casually before breaking into a sprint and barreling into Dex.

"LEX! GET OFF ME!" Dex snapped, pushing his little brother to the ground.

"Awww! But we wanna pway!" Bex wailed. Her puppy dog eyes had no effect on Dex, and he turned back to us.

"MOM! DEX IS BEING EXCLUSIVE!" Rex yelled upstairs to where his mom must have been.

"DEX, INCLUDE YOUR SIBLINGS!" she called back. Rex smiled triumphantly.

"Dex," Fitz said. "Seriously, it'll be more fun with them."

Dex sighed. "Fine. I guess you guys can play."

My view on playing Truth or Dare went from 'bad' to 'worse' when the triplets joined are circle. They seemed to share one mind, and each one of their demands coincided with the next, making them three times as evil. Lucky for me, their favorite person to torture was Dex.

"Dex, truth or dare?" Bex asked in an unbelievably sweet and polite voice.

"Truth," Dex chose without a moment's hesitation.

"How many times have you been rejected?" she asked with the same sickeningly sweet voice.

Dex closed his eyes. "Three," he said after a moment. "Um, Tam, truth or dare?"

Tam snorted. "Dare."

A wicked grin spread across Dex's face. Apparently he could be just as evil as his siblings. "Tam."(A/N I'm sure we all know what's coming...) "I dare you to kiss your crush."

Tam's eyes went huge. "Does it have to be on the lips?" he asked, and I swear his eyes flicked over to me for a second.

Dex shook his head. "I'm not that evil."

Tam nodded, swallowed hard, and then leaned over to the left.

Wait-

I was sitting-

Suddenly I felt his warm, wet lips on my cheek, and then they were gone. I swear my heart was beating a million miles an hour as I turned to face the boy who had just kissed me.

"What?" I whispered, unable to think of anything else to say.

"I don't know," Tam whispered back, his face redder than I'd ever seen it. "I don't know."

Someone cleared their throat and I realized with a start that I wasn't alone, that there were other people in the room. Like Fitz. And Keefe. And Dex. And Linh.

It was probably one of the boys who cleared their throat, but that was the least of my worries. Linh, who looked like she was ready to explode with laughter, was worrying me the most. Poor Tam. He had to live- why was I thinking about him like that!?

"Sorry," Tam said next to me. "Lex, truth or dare?" And the day went on like so.

Yay! I finally updated! Sorry it took me so long, I didn't have an original chapter to look at for this one, so I just winged it. And I want to say thank you for getting this story into first place in Sotam. Thanks guys! You're awesome! :D
