Sophie pulled me away from her and I looked at her face. Lazily, I batted at her head fur. I wanted to get down and eat more yummy brown stuff. Sophie didn't like it when I ate yummy brown stuff.
"No more eating potting soil," she said. "That's gross. Ick." Then she turned. I could see two other humans. One was Friend Keefe. I did not know the other. The Other looked a little scared of me. I wished I could tell the other I would not hurt them.
"Do you want to hold him?" Sophie asked The Other. The Other shrugged.
I looked up at Sophie and said, "The Other can hold me." Then I was silent. I hated my tiny squeaky voice, so I didn't talk much. Sophie must've understood, because she transferred me to the arms of The Other.
"Marty, this is Tam. He's a friend," Sophie introduced.
"Hi," Friend Tam said.
"Hello," I mewed back. He smiled. I looked at his face. He at silver fur on his head that matched his eyes. I batted at the silver fur. Friend Tam squeaked. Sophie giggled.
I think I frightened Friend Tam. I didn't mean to. I was just playing. I brought my paw down and nuzzled his chest.
I liked this new person.
I hoped I would see him more often.
If you guys want me to, I'll do another Marty's P.O.V. later on. Stay safe!
