Tarkik's POV.

The next few days went in a blur. The wounded were mostly healed, while any that had been majorly injured were moved inside with healers attending to them. Werewolves and wolves alike were growing restless. Most of them were confused on what their leaders were planning.

Sunna and I talked with the Raw Power Pack's members. Giving them the choice of leaving as a rogue or staying as a loyal member of our pack. They were rather uncertain of what to do, tossing their heads around to each other. No one seemed to move at first, until a young female came forward.

"I watched as so many of my pack members were abused or killed by our old alpha. You two have freed us, so I have a debt that I want to repay to you!" She stood fiercely and studied her pack mates closely. Slowly, more and more werewolves walked up next to her and joined her. First Omegas Julia and Adam came over to organize the werewolves that decided to stay into what positions they would fill.

However, there was still a group of werewolves that stayed behind. They made their choice to become rogues and each of them spoke the words that would break their link with the pack. Sunna and I followed them off the territory. Even though we would not want disloyal members in our pack, it still hurt to see them become rogues

Next we decided to gather everyone to explain exactly what was going on. We took turns on who was speaking and used our alpha powers to make sure everyone could hear us, even those that were miles away. We explained everything from Blade, Chase, and Honey's new positions to the healers becoming zetas to the new border lines to base camp and even to what the new name of the pack would be. Looking closely at facial expressions, we could see and feel the uncomfortableness and unease.

Once we wrapped everything up, we started our descent to where the new base camp would be. Those that did not fight would meet us there. It was a group effort to make sure the wounded were properly helped. Sunna and I assigned a specific group of werewolves and wolves to gather those that we had lost from all three packs. They would be given a proper burial, no matter what pack they came from.

Using a large open plain next to the river, each werewolf or wolf was buried individually. Starting with Ram being placed right next to the river, we dug up holes in coordinated half circles. Every able bodied werewolf or wolf was helping with digging, even the young pups were doing their best to help. It went by quicker than expected, it still took a pawful of days, and soon bodies were being placed in their graves. Loved ones of those that had passed placed personal items or put some unique on the graves to remember where it was.

I sat with Honey, mourning Ram's death, and I had not noticed that my mate had left until she came back with full bags in her human hands. She offered a small smile and pulled something out of the bags. My nose could smell the earthiness of the materials she had brought.

"It's a weeping willow tree seed," she answered the unasked question. "I thought a seed could be planted for each... because each of them have given way for new life and new beginnings."

Honey looked at Sunna and, for the first time in a while, she smiled. "R-Ram would love that." Honey used a paw to dig a small hole for the seed. Sunna gingerly placed the seed inside before Honey pushed the dirt back over the seed.

I licked Honey's ear before standing to walk with Sunna. We delivered a seed to each grave, allowing the loved ones of each to plant the seed themself. Sunna helped to plant a seed for her uncle and aunt with Chase.

Finally that night, with everyone settled down together, Sunna and I stood in front of Ram's grave, looking over at our pack. Sunna and most werewolves had shifted for the night to stay warm. I gave a quick howl to gather everyone's attention. "I have to say I never once expected any of this to happen. I never would have guessed that three packs would combine to become one, especially with one of the packs being a different species. But here we are.
