It only took Jin seconds to process that information.

“48 hours?” he asked, a calculated smile spreading across his face, “That's plenty of time to tear those bastards down!”

Before YoonGi could stop him, Jin was gone, leaving him to seriously regret listening to those idiots and their stupid plan.

He leaned back in his chair and smiled.  This just might work!

He sent a text that simply said “he knows”.

That was his part done.

Suddenly feeling happy, he buzzed the front office and said" Miriam.  Don’t let all that food and good whiskey go to waste!! Bring it in and eat with me. We're done with work for the day.”

The ending of this day made up for the difficulties that plagued him for days. He smiled, his first genuine smile in weeks.

Jin pushed out of the doors of YoonGi's firm, blindly walking in his anger and confusion.

After almost an hour, the chill of the late afternoon had penetrated his thin jacket.  He slowed his long strides, his anger worked under tight control.

He had dozens of questions about the document and even more about what YoonGi meant when he said Dae might be home within 48 hours.

He needed answers.

He finally stopped, looking around to get his bearings.  He laughed when he realized where he was, the sound bitter to his own ears.

He was blocks away from the iNovas offices. He would have those questions answered today.

He quickly arrived at the building and charmed his way up to NamJoon’s office.  Unlike last time, he smiled at the young secretary in the front office and strode past, opening the door and walking right in.

Joon looked up in surprise at the intrusion, then seeing Jin's face he sighed.  Whatever he wanted, this was going to be unpleasant.

“What have you done with her?” Jin asked, getting straight to the point.

Joon did not pretend to misunderstand.

He could tell that Jin had discovered what happened.  He nodded and motioned for him to sit.  He thought he had the right to know, but Dae had insisted.

“You know,” Joon said.

“All I know is that she is gone.  This Defense Department contract is in the tank because of it, you refuse to call her back,” he paused, watching Joon's face closely “and all of it is tied up with you taking control of the company and an agreement that saved my ass.”

He waited as he saw the guilt in Joon's face, all the confirmation he needed.

Jin moved toward NamJoon, his fists clenched, his anger roaring back.
