She called the car and headed to Jin's office, rehearsing what she was going to say.  It never occurred to her to call ahead, never thinking Jin might refuse to see her.

She was almost nauseous as she pulled up to the familiar building.  She gave herself a pep talk the entire elevator ride up to Jin's suite.

The doors opened and Dae was confused for a moment, a new woman was seated at the secretary’s desk.

Dae had met her several times, but she was curious as to where Lyra might be.

She did not have long to ponder that question as the secretary told her Jin was not available.

But almost immediately there was a loud slam into a desk and Jin could clearly be heard shouting into the phone.  A few moments later the call ended with another slam, this time it was the receiver into the cradle.

Dae's heart sank.  This meeting was off to a horrible start.

She shook her head and straightened her shoulders.  She was made of tougher stuff than that!

Gathering her courage, she approached Jin's office.

Dae held her breath as she stepped in the room and saw Jin standing in the  shadows of the morning sun.

He had his back to her, hands in his pockets.  He was in his shirt sleeves, his jacket carelessly tossed on his desk.

She just drank him in for several minutes.  She had missed him so very much and this was surely her favorite view in the whole world.

She started at his feet, her gaze hungry for every detail.  He was wearing his favorite brand of Italian loafers. She smiled at how many times she had stumbled over them, on his floor or hers.

Her eyes followed up his long legs, stopping to rest on his firm ass.  She swallowed hard and blushed at the turn of her thoughts.

She sighed as she saw his trim waist, in a moment she would walk to him and wrap her arms there and feel his warm body relax into hers.

Her breath hitched as she followed up his back, remembering how the muscles would feel under her hands as he slowly thrust into her.  She had to touch him now.

As she silently walked toward him, her eyes fell on his broad shoulders.  She frowned as she noticed how the cotton shirt fit him.  He had lost weight, his shoulders were slumped and his head was bowed.

Her heart began to ache all over again for what he had been through.  He must have felt such a burden, felt all alone.

She felt a fierce surge of protection slam into her.  She would protect him with everything she had.

Jin had heard her enter, smelled her scent as she entered the room, felt her presence in his bones.

Still he could not face her. He steeled himself to look at her.

As she grew nearer, without thinking he voiced what was in his heart, “Took you long enough.”

Dae's heart soared as she heard those familiar words from him. She hurried toward him, ready to jump in his arms.

Jin slowly turned to her and she involuntarily slowed.

She was struck by the emotions in his face.  His eyes burned with lust and anger and other emotions she could not name.

Before she could work it out, he had taken her in his arms.

His grasp was tight, his touch a bit rough as he pulled her to him.  One hand cupped her ass and pressed her tightly to him, the other went to cup the back of her head.

Her senses were swimming, she was struggling to think as his hooded gaze fell to her mouth and his tongue moistened his own lips in response.

She was so lost in the moment that it took a few beats of her heart to register what he said.

Once she did her blood ran cold, even as his mouth claimed hers in a hard, heated kiss.

“Damn me, I cannot resist you, even now,” he muttered as he watched her lips softly open, anticipating him.

“Make this count SongDae,” he whispered as he bent to capture her lips in his, “you only get one chance for a Judas kiss.”
