She soon felt ready for the task ahead.

She slipped on a thick, warm robe and sat for GiGi to work her magic. She finished her makeup quickly, expertly hiding the marks of little sleep and a long flight. She fussed with her hair until it was pulled into a soft twist. Dae liked the look. It was sophisticated, but still very feminine.

Tae stepped in to chat over the last few details. He really just wanted to see her reaction to the clothes he had selected.

He was not disappointed. Dae sighed as she saw the perfect dress hanging on the door.

It was a grey wool coat dress, fitted close to her curves with an asymmetrical zipper closure. It was serious, it was professional, it was perfect for this meeting.

GiGi handed her a box with sheer black stocking and black lingerie. Tae had remembered to bring her favorite pair of black snakeskin heels.

He stood and whistled as she walked into the room where he was waiting.

"Damn!! I am a freaking GENIUS!" he exclaimed, walking in a circle around her.

He stopped in front of her and took her hands, now serious.

"You are simply stunning. I knew you would be. Are you ready?" he asked.

"Thank you, Tae. It is perfect. Let's do this!" she answered.

She was quiet on the ride over to Joon's office, running last minute scenarios, trying to prepare herself in case her father was there, searching for what she would say to Jin.

She cleared her mind as they pulled into the garage. Tae gave her a last-minute pep talk in the elevator and then she was there.

Her heart pounded and she prayed for strength to do this right.

The first person she saw was her father.

She went to him first and paid her respects. He moved to sit down at the head of the conference room and indicated everyone else should sit as well.

Dae's eyes swept the room, falling on each of her friends. She felt bolder just knowing they were there with her.

Finally, she met Jin's gaze.

Her heart jolted and she took a minute to catch her breath. She could not tell if he was angry with her. He sat with his arms and legs crossed. She recognized his posture. He was ready to negotiate. Dealing with him would be brutal.

Jin caught Dae's gaze and saw her eyes darken. His heart thumped harder at that. Outwardly she was cool, prepared for the negotiations to come, the soothing of her skirt her only tell that she was nervous.

She was impeccable in that damn grey dress that fit her like a glove, and was that a zipper up the side and across her breast?

He swallowed hard and looked away, demanding his heart to pump more blood to his brain rather than the other direction.
