As you entered the village with Rengoku and Obanai, you immediately saw how there was very little amount people outside and those who were, had expressions of fear plastered on their faces.

"Something's very wrong here, let's split up and search then regroup here after the sun sets." said Kyojuro.

"Alright, see ya then." you said as you dissapeared.

"I still don't trust him." Iguro said as he looked at the spot you just were at.

"Come on Obanai! Lighten up! He'll be a great asset and friend too! I'm sure!" boomed Rengoku as Obanai sighed.

"Alright, but I'm keeping an eye on him."

*meanwhile with you*

"Maaan I've barely got any info from these people. They just look at me like they've seen a ghost." you said in annoyance.

While you were walking aimlessly, you spotted a rather calm woman from the corner of your eye sitting at some sort of table.

You approached her as she looked at you.

"Hello, nice to meet you." she said with a small smile.

"Hey, do you know what happened here?" you asked as you looked around, the way was empty.

"There have been multiple dissapearences in the past few weeks. A few demon slayers came around a week ago when it stopped, we thought it was over but then it began again." she said as she didn't break her gaze from you.

"Can you tell me more about the people who dissapeared?" you asked as you finally sat down with her.

"Alright."

*timeskip*

"So this girl's best friend, sister and mom dissapeared, then her?" you asked.

"Yes, exactly." she said.

'Hmm... It seems like the demons are targeting someone by taking people closest to them...'

"Thank you for the information. I'll make good use of it." you said as you began to leave.

"It's nothing just... Please end this madness." she said as she too stood up and left.

' I wonder what Rengoku and Obanai found... '

*with kyojuro and obanai*

"So you want to tell me, that your sister and friend dissapeared, and that one more will and then you?" asked Obanai clearly unamused by the story.

"Y-Yes... It was like that with other people here..." said the terrified boy.

"We're meeting a dead end here, let's take this boy with us, maybe (Y/N) has some info too." said Iguro as Rengoku nodded.

*timeskip to meeting*

"Where the hell is he? We told him to come here after the sun goes down." said Obanai a bit annoyed.

"I'm sure he's just caught up in something." added Rengoku.

"U-Umm... Who is t-that?" asked the boy.

"Huh? Who?" asked Kyojuro confused.

They turned around as they saw nothing.

They turned back towards the boy but-

"Boo!" someone yelled.

"Huh?! What the?!" said Kyojuro.

"Hahahahah! You shouldve seen your faces!" you said as you laughed.
