Chapter 8

Your eyes fluttered open as they adjusted to the darkness. You were in some sort of hospital room.

While you looked around, you heard a strange noise next to you.

You looked to your right and saw Mitsuri herself sitting next to your bed, asleep, and snoring slightly.

You cracked a small smile as you stood up from your bed and went to her.

You picked her up gently, and headed out of your room. It was hard navigating as you were never in this place, but you found an empty room with a bed.

You slowly and gently placed her down onto the bed as you pulled the covers on her, you smiled as the moonlight reflected off of her skin making her look astounding.

You sat on the bed and began stroking her long rose-green hair.

She smiled in her sleep slightly which made her even more cute.

But you didn't notice someone was watching you.

The small figure that was watching you and Mitsuri turned out to be Shinobu.

Shinobu giggled internally and silently walked away after seeing the wholesome scene.

*morning*

You woke up on the seat next to Mitsuri's bed rather early as the sun was still rising on the horizon.

You sighed as you stood and walked away silently but not before looking at her one last time before going out of the room.

You went back to your room to take your sword, even though this place seemed rather nice, you wouldn't want to be caught off guard.

You went out to explore this hospital thing and find the head or whoever runs it.

While looking you found your way outside instead, so you chose to look for them later and started to train a little bit.

Aoi P.O.V.

I walked out of the Butterfly Estate to put the clothes to dry outside. It was a peaceful morning, until I looked up and saw that a branch was about to fall on top of me.

But before I could even react, it was cut into small pieces that landed around me. It took me a second to comprehend the situation before looking around and seeing a tall and very intimidating guy sitting in the shadow of the tree.

"W-Who are you?" I asked nervously.

"Hm?" he said as he looked at me.

I got irritated but kept my cool as I approached him.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" I asked rather harshly.

(Y/N) P.O.V.

"Who am I? Who are you?" I asked with a smirk.

I could see it on her face that she was irritated as she raised her voice.

"I'm Aoi Kanzaki, you're on the property of the Butterfly Estate! So who the hell are you and what are you doing here?!" she asked, clearly mad.

"Now Aoi, that's not a nice way to treat our patient." said a cheerful voice as Aoi turned around and I looked behind her.

Shinobu approached us as she held her small smile.

"A patient? But I've never seen him here!" she said confused.

"Now now, I've kept him in a secret room, so only a few people could enter." said Shinobu rather calmly.

"Alright but... Who is he?" she asked as I stood up and stretched.

"That's (Y/N), the Light Pillar." said Shinobu as she smiled widely.
