Chapter 7

"So that's the situation?" said Oyakata.

"CAW!"

"I never knew three Hashiras wouldn't be enough for one mission. Although it was a testing mission for (Y/N). We'll see what he'll do. Sanemi, Shinobu." Oyakata said as he turned around.

"Yes Oyakata-sama!" both of them said as they left.

There was nothing...

You couldn't see anything, it was a void of nothingness.

"(Y/N)!" someone yelled.

You could see Kyojuro looking at you concerned, but then a black void again.

"Damn it... After all that training, I'll be taken down by a stupid strategy as this..." you said frustrated.

"Since I helped you develop this breathing style and helped you make all of the moves, try making your own one, since it's yours after all." Sachiro's voice echoed.

"But what could be good in this situation, I'm bleeding out and they need help, I'm useless." you said as you saw the backs of Rengoku and Obanai.

"I've been thinking of a move for my Lightning breathing, I want to spread the energy throughout my body but, it's easier said than done." your dad's voice echoed.

"Spread throughout the body huh? Sorry dad, but I'll borrow your idea!" you said as you began concentrating.

It was hard since you felt pain all over your body due to your injuries that weren't healing, but nonetheless you continued.

*real world*

"Tch. How many of them are there?" said Iguro, annoyed by the demon's strategy.

"They should at least have 15 total. Since if they had less, they wouldn't continue attacking now after we took out a few of them." said Rengoku dodging an attack from a demon before slashing at it and it dissapearing.

Iguro clashed his sword with on of the demons, although he is fast, he isn't the strongest, as the demon began overpowering him.

Obanai prepared to jump away, but before he could do so, another demon appeared from his side and sent it's claw towards his face.

He gritted his teeth as he knew he was outplayed.

What no one saw was the body of (Y/N) radiating of white power.

*somewhere else*

"Tch! How much more do we need to go?! Damn demon got injured and not we've got to save his ass." Sanemi spat as they were jumping through the forest.

"Ara ara~. Don't be like that Shinazugawa-san. Rengoku-san and Obanai-san probably saved him by no-" Shinobu was cut off as they saw mist start to form and they heard a faint sound of a... Flute?

"What the hell?!" Sanemi yelled.

Shinobu went towards the sound to find a demon sitting on a stone, playing the flute.

"So that's the demon who's responsible for the mist?" Shinobu said as she giggled.

Shinobu jumped high in the air as she landed behind the demon playing the flute.

"That's a nice sound, you've been practising?" she asked in a cheery tone.

The demon, shocked, looked behind and saw the butterfly themed girl standing behind it.
