I opened my eyes, a bright chandelier met my sight. Nasaan ako?  The last thing that I remembered was when I passed out habang nagpumilit na lumapit kay Eun. Agad akong bumangon, I want to see him!

"Young lady!"

Tumingin ako sa gilid and there I saw Miss Analiza with a relief look on her face.

"I was about to call the family doctor, young lady. Good thing that you're awake"

Tumayo ako  at akmang tatakbo nang makita ko ang isang mannequin na may suot na gown. It is a purple off shoulder gown na may touch of Black sa bawat laylayan. Napalibutan din ito ng glitters. Sa leeg ng mannequin ay may kwentas na may purple diamond. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa nakita. With a shaking voice, I managed to ask

"I-Is m-my g-grandmother h-here?"

"Yes young lady. In fact, there is a welcome party at exactly 9 in the evening. I'm gonna call the dressers"

Sabi nya at umalis. No, kailangan kong makita si Eun. Baka ano na ang nangyari sa kanya! Nag-alala ako ng sobra. I quickly run outside my room but when I opened the door at palabas na sana ako, Mr. Smith along with the other body guards blocked my way.

"Move"

Utos ko pero parang wala silang narinig.

"I said move"

Kalmado pero may diing sabi ko

"Señora Hera ordered us not to let you step outside your room unless you are all set for the party, young lady"

I closed my eyes. My grandmother is very manipulative. She wants everything under control and she treats everyone like chess pieces and I am not an exemption. I closed my fist. I'm gonna get myself out from her grip.

I looked myself in the mirror. I am wearing the make up , the gown and all. I bit my lips. I can do this. I'm sorry grandmother but......... I shook my head. Hinawakan ko ang laylayan ng gown ko at nagsimulang humakbang papunta sa venue ng party which is in the party hall sa mansion. Habang naglalakad, tinitigan ko ang bawat detalye ng aking dinaraanan. Sa mansion na ito ako ipinanganak at pinalaki. I've been living like a royalty. I thought that I'm the luckiest girl because there are people who would defend me and I have supportive parents and also, a grandmother who would give me whatever I want. But when I met Eun a few years ago, I started to taste what life really is.

"Melo!"

I looked around and looked for the girl who called me with a sophisticated voice

"Champ"

She smiled and hugged me. She's wearing a red gown habang nakataas ang buhok nya.

"Hey cousin!"

Lumingon ako and I saw Zyro. He hugged me and kissed my cheeks.

Kung nasa normal na pagkakataon ito, tinutukso ko na ang dalawa. Zyro put his hands on Champ's waist. I smiled at them

"If you're looking for your parents, nandon sila sa gitna with granny"

Tumango ako and I excused myself. This is just a welcome party but look, parang may JS prom at birthday ng presidente ang nangyari. The guests are those in the powerful and influential family.

There I saw my grandmother. Nakasuot ng gown at balot ng mga alahas. Tiningnan ko ang mga kausap nya. Sina Mom at Dad na parang reyna at hari ang porma dahil sa aura at tindig. Kausap nila ang presidente ng bansa. Great, just great. It's just a welcome party but bakit kailangan pa ng ganito ka bongga? I sighed. I forgot the fact that my grandmother is a niece of the King of England.
