Jasmine leaned half way out of the window, as the bottom of the window dug into her hip, as she watched Lilly slap her feet onto the parking lot. Their hotel room was on the first floor, because it was the cheapest room in the hotel.

"Lilly!" Jasmine shouted, as Lilly bolted into the woods behind the hotel, wearing only a towel.

Jasmine pushes herself back into the room, the window is too small for her to get through. So, She makes her way out of the room, down the hall, and out the big silver doors of the hotel.

The air felt heavy and humid, as dark clouds stretched across the sky.

Jasmine ran into the covering of the forest, screaming Lilly's name. Dirt flew up and small branches broke as Lilly ran faster. Her cries echoed through the forest, setting a path for Jasmine to follow.

Soon the sounds of Lilly crying out were beginning to drown out as the river along side the woods grew louder.

Lilly felt her towel slipping, it was going to fall any second. She held the knot of the towel as she ran behind a small clump of Red Alder trees, that branched off the bank of the river. She sat down behind the trees, stretching her legs across the edge of the muddy river bank.

The sound of Jasmine screaming Lilly's name broke over the sound of the river and Lilly's cries. Jasmine walked cautiously five feet behind Lilly, looking behind every tree in her path. Lilly slid closer to the ground, as she covered her cries with her hand. Lilly's efforts were futile because within a minute, Jasmine found her lying under the tree.

Jasmine crouched to the ground, and stared into Lilly's teary eyes, before speaking.

"I'm sorry, Lilly" Jasmine said in a soft voice.

Lilly slowly moved her hand away from her mouth, as her lip trembled.

"How could you do this to me?" Lilly said, starring into her mother's eyes, waiting desperately for an answer.

"I couldn't handle loosing you, you're so young, and I love you too much to see you die," Jasmine spoke, as tears fell down her face. "I didn't know that it was going to hurt you, I just wanted you back"

"You have no idea what he's put me through" Lilly responded coldly.

"I'm so sorry, Lilly!" Jasmine says, bursting into tears.

Lilly looks away, and suddenly, her vision goes dark, before getting thrown back into her mind.

The sound of Jasmine screaming is the last thing Lilly hears before losing her consciousness.

A light somewhere above her, creates a medium sized circle around her, as pitch black swallows of the rest of her mind. Suddenly, the sound of laughter echoes through her mind, as she lies on the glass floor in her mind.

"Your mother doesn't feel sorry for what she did to you, she's just saying that to make you feel better," Ethan's voice rang out.

Lilly says nothing.

"Afraid I'm right?" Ethan's voice booms.

Lilly stays quiet.

Ethan's laugh echoes through her mind, as Lilly slowly falls back into consciousness. Something cold and wet hits Lilly's face, before she has a chance to fully open her eyes. Jasmine dips her fingers into the river once more, before flicking the water into Lilly's face. Jasmine goes to dip her fingers again, but stops short when she sees Lilly's eyes start to open.

Jasmine releases a long breath of air, before a small hint of a smile cracks on her face.

"I think I know someone who can help fix you," Jasmine said, "Just come back with me to the hotel"

A flash of hope glimmers across Lilly's eyes.

"Alright," Lilly spoke, before getting back on her feet.

Jasmine got up too, and together they walked back to the hotel.

In their room, Jasmine dialed in Annabelle's phone number.

"Who is this?" Annabelle questioned, when she answered the phone.

"It's Jasmine, and I've got a huge problem that I need your witchcraft to fix it," Jasmine answered.

"What's the problem?" Annabelle asked.

"I must have said the resurrection spell wrong because now my ex husband's sole is inside my daughter, while my daughter is also in her dody," Jasmine answered.

"Sounds complicated," Annabelle answered, "but I think I know how to fix it"

"What do I need to do?"

"Say the spell in reverse, then place one of the red candles, that you used before, and place it in your daughter's hands"

"Is that all I have to do?"

"Yes, that should separate the two," Annabelle replied, "but make sure you do the spell in the same area as the first time you preformed the spell"

"Wait, all the stuff burned in my house!" Jasmine said, with wide eyes.

"Of course it did," Annabelle said with a sigh, "come by my house, I'll leave everything you need in a box on my front porch"

The phone went silent, before Jasmine could say anything more. She hung up the phone, and looked at Lilly sitting quietly on one of the beds.

"We have to go back to the house, but first I need to stop by at Annabelle's house," Jasmine told Lilly.

Without speaking another word, Lilly grabs some clothes and heads to the bathroom to change, while Jasmine  packs what they have left into a small garbage bag, before checking out of the hotel.

Jasmine pulls into the gravel driveway of Annabelle's house, before stopping the car half way down the driveway.

Jasmine drove for a little over three hours before finally reaching Annabelle's house. They sat in silence, until Jasmine finally spoke up, after stopping the car in Annabelle's driveway.

"It will be over soon," Jasmine said, before exiting the car.

Lilly watched Jasmine walk up the driveway, as Lilly's eye lids began to feel like bags of sand. There was no way Lilly was going to let herself fall asleep, not when she knew it would lead to seeing Ethan again.

Within a few minutes. Jasmine is back with a full box of materials needed for the spell. She opens the passenger door and places the box in the seat.

"Just a couple more hours, and all of this will be over," Jasmine said before closing the passenger door.

It was only a matter of hours before Ethan can finally leave Lilly's body, and she couldn't wait. She didn't want to give her hopes away, but the words "she doesn't feel sorry for you," still rings in the back of her mind.
