Jasmine cradled her lifeless daughter in her arms, the burn from the bleach still stung Jasmine's arms, from when she pulled Lilly out, but Jasmine continued to sit on the cold tiled floor, waiting for a miracle, but Jasmine knows in her heart, there's not going to be a miracle.

It had been almost an hour since Jasmine walked in on Ethan and Lilly, but only 10 minutes since Jasmine gave up doing CPR on Lilly.

"When Ethan wakes up, I'm going to kill him," Jasmine thinks, "And I'm going to bring my daughter back."

Jasmine smiles as she starts thinking about all the ways she could kill him, but her smile quickly turns to disgust. She loved this man, he was everything to her just a couple hours ago and now she's planning his murder? She looked down at her daughter's corpse.

"She is my everything" Jasmine thinks.

Jasmine's eyes narrow, her teeth clench together, and her fist forms a ball. "I shouldn't be disgusted by my thoughts, HE'S the disgusting one! He took my daughter's life!"

Jasmine turned her attention to the unconscious Ethan, still lying on the floor, then back at Lilly. This is for you, Lilly.

Jasmine relaxes her fist and gently moves Lilly off of her and onto the floor. She pushes herself up from the ground, and takes a deep breath. Pushing the tears from her eyes away, she exhales and heads out of the bathroom.

Ethan's head throbs as he open's his heavy eyes. His mouth feels like a desert, as he wipes the saliva off his face with the back of his hand.

His groggy vision gets clearer as he stares at Lilly's body. He smiles, laughing a little and says, "I win."

Suddenly, Jasmine enters the room, her hands are behind her back. Her eyes swell up with tears, but none of them fall.

"Jasmine, I swear I didn't mean to kill her, but think about how much happier we will be with her gone." Ethan says

"You're right." She says, sliding a kitchen knife into the back of her pants.

Jasmine walks over to Ethan, still lying on the ground, and crouches in front of Ethan to be eye to eye with him. She fills her mind with all the reasons she fell in love with him, as she leans closer to Ethan. Ethan smiles and brings his head close to hers, getting ready to kiss her.

"I love you, Jasmine." Ethan says, closing his eyes with his lips close to hers.

"I don't." She says, sliding the knife out of her pants, plunging it into his heart.

Ethan's eyes jump open, and she pushes the knife in deeper. Blood pools around the wound, getting bigger every second. Jasmine lets go off the knife as Ethan gasps for air. His mouth gapes open as his eyes flutter. His body slumps into a pile of bricks as his life flees from his body.

"See you in Hell." Jasmine says, still crouching in front of Ethan's lifeless body.

Jasmine stands up and stares at Ethan. She wishes things could have been different, it had been 8 years since Lilly's real father, Henry, had died in a motorcycle accident, she was certain he was the the only one she was meant to be with, until she met Ethan. Ethan made her feel like finding love was possible again, until today. Today was the day, that love became hatred. Jasmine's heart swelled with darkness and misery. She knew she could never find love again, but she isn't going to give up on Lilly, not yet. She is going to bring Lilly back to life no matter what it takes, even if she has to give up her own life or take someone else's.
