Chapter 3

Acoyssa's POV

  After taking a shower and while still drying my hair with a towel, I head to the kitchen to check for one of my sisters.

Being a glutton, I'm sure she's eating just like she always do. Medyo nahimasmasan na rin ako sa kalasingan este sa kahibangan dahil na rin sa naabutan ko kanina rito sa unit ko.

  Nakarating ako sa kusina at without getting surprise, tama nga ako. Nandito sya.

"Luv? Why went here instead of the hacienda?" I shortly asked while walking towards her.

Earlier, she told me that she just returned from her recent trip. Tapos ay dito nya naisipang dumiretso kaysa umuwi sa Antipolo kung nasaan ang Hacienda Del Yu.

  Habang binubuksan ang sachet ng ketchup na kasama sa inorder nyang pagkain ay agad syang lumingon sa pwesto ko at ngumiti nang nakakaloko.

"Sis, sorry na kung nag-trespass na naman ako rito sa unit mo. Eh kasi I just really want to rest before going home. Panigurado kasing mara-riffle na naman ako ni nanay ng sermon kapag nakita nya ako. I need to prepare before the war, you know." She said as she shrugged her shoulder then continue preparing her food. Ngayon ay isinasalin na nya 'yong ketchup sa isang lalagyan.

"So please forgive your pretty sister na. Hwag ka na magalit." Luv added while pouting like a duck.

"Of course you're pretty just like me and Eden, as well as Meesh, identical quadruplets kaya tayong apat. So, kapag sinabi kong panget ka para ko na ring sinabi na panget ako." I frankly replied then roll my eyes.

Nasa loob sya ng kitchen counter samantalang naupo naman ako sa high wooden chair na nasa labas. I crossed my arms and legs then she wink at me, luka-luka talaga.

"Sabi ko nga eh. Teka, you want to have some?" Luv offers while dipping a fries on her sundae. So she still do that?
That tandem is the best!

"I'm full but if you're kind enough to offer then I won't refuse." medyo nahihiya man ay dinampot ko ang isang piraso ng fries at ang isa pang sundae na may takip tsaka ko ginaya ang ginawa nya.

Para bang nanalo sa isang kompetisyon ay mas lalo pang lumawak ang ngiti sa mukha ni Luv. Silly, woman.
The gesture she made a while ago (iyong pag-dip ng fries sa sundae) just looks so irresistible for the four of us.

It's like we're being bewitched whenever one of us did that while offering a food. Kahinaan namin 'yon nina Meesh at Eden.

Ending? We eat even if we don't want at first. Si Luv talaga ang pasimuno at mapagsamantala sa weakness naming iyon eh.

Kasi noong highschool, inseparable kaming magkakapatid. Bawal umalis ang isa na hindi kasama ang tatlo pa. So, itong si Luv, napakatakaw talaga kaya suki kami noon ng malapit na fast food sa academy. Eh wala syang kasabay kumain kapag umaatake pagiging PG nya, kaya hini-hypnotized nya kami gamit ang sundae at fries. Namamalayan na lang tuloy namin ay na-order na rin kami ng snacks habang nakangiti sya sa amin ng abot-tenga.

"By the way Acy, sayang. You missed seeing a typical but charming deliveryman. That bro isn't the type of guy you'll see everywhere." Luv complimented followed by a soft giggles.

Napahinto ako sa tangkang pag-subo ng spaghetti na kakatapos ko lang haluin ng marinig ko ang sinabi nya.

Ewan ko ba pero agad bumalik sa alaala ko ang weirdong lalaki na nakasabay ko kanina habang paakyat ako rito kanina.

What's his name again? Hmmm, uh yeah it's Nighali.

I just laugh a little because of the instant flashback of memory but Luv seems bothered by it.

  "Mukhang ako ang may na-missed ah?" she curiously said as she put her hand under her chin, she's waiting for me to spill something.

"What? Ano ba?" patay-malisya na tanong ko sa kaniya dahil kung makatitig sya sa akin ay wagas. Nakakailang!

"Come on, spill it! Huwag kang pa-suspense Acoyssa Yu! Stop being a cliffhanger!" reklamo nya na mas ikinangiti ko.

"Fine, heto na nga oh. Kasi, I think I know who's your bragging about. The man's name is Nighali. We met at the elevator just before I arrived here and saw you invading my place." then I raised an eyebrow at her.

Luv looks guilty with my last statement kaya hindi ko na napigilang tumawa.

Hindi naman na ako nagagalit whenever she came at my place without notifying me. Nasanay na lang ako na basta-basta na lang syang nasulpot dito. Minsan nga ay nauuna pa sya sa akin sa loob. Tibay, right?

Kami lang din naman kasing apat na magkakapatid ang nakaka-alam ng passcode rito unit ko.

"Don't misinterpret me, Luv. It's okay if you came here unannounced. I don't care, we're sisters right?" I said to lift up her mood. Hindi bagay sa kaniya na maging gloomy.

"Akala ko naman balak mo ng palitan code mo eh. Nag-iisip na tuloy ako ng possible combinations." Luv joke then she laugh crazily. And so did I.

It's been a long time since we had a conversation like this. I may not admit it but I really miss laughing with my sisters. Namimiss ko ng magpalipas ng oras at magsaya na sila yung kasama.
I miss laughing like there's no tomorrow just because of nonsensical things.

I miss my siblings and all the moments we always do way back then.

I miss Luv, Eden and Meesh.

I badly want to go back to the old times when we're all inseparable. Iyong panahon na sapat na ang presensya namin para sa isa't isa.

Ngayon kasi ay may kani-kaniya na kaming pinag-kakaabalahan. Iba-iba na kami ng priorities sa buhay.

"By the way Acy, kamusta ang second course mo? You really pursue your love for acting ano?" Luv asked afterwards.

The four of us already finished our own courses a year ago at different universities. I took Business Administration major in Financial Management at U.P. Diliman. Lauv graduated at La Salle,  Eden was at Ateneo De Manila and Meesh was in P.U.P.

After getting hired at Nichella Finance and Business Company which was part of my major dream, I decided to take another two years course of Fine Arts.

So I'm multitasking since last year. Trabaho at pag-aaral, gano'n.

"As you already stated, I love the course especially what I'm doing so it's going smoothly going. Ikaw? How about the Conservation Group you lead, having any new agendas?" I asked to diverse the topic.

Wala naman kasing interesting sa recent 'buhay-estudyante' ko.

Katulad ng hinala ko, Luv starts to talk nonstop upon answering my question. She do love speaking especially when it involves her love for the nature.
