Chapter 22

Hacienda Del Yu;

Alas cinco y media ng hapon nang dumating ang inaasahang bisita ng pamilya Yu.

Lumabas mula sa van ang isang ginang na bagama't maputi na ang buhok at medyo kulubot na ang balat, ay bakas pa din ang tinataglay na pambihirang kagandahan.

She's the mother of the head of the family, Rover Yu.

Unfortunately, the lady's husband passed away three years ago.

The quadruplets line up then one by one show respect to their abuela by having her blessing;

"Happy new year, lola. Welcome home po.", masuyong wika ni Eden saka ito nag-mano sa matanda.

Sa lahat ng apo ay ang dalaga ang pinaka-magiliw sa kanilang lola. Dito nga yata niya nakuha ang pagiging konserbatibo at sobrang lapit sa Dyos.

"Mamita, lalo po kayong gumaganda. Sana pagdating ko sa edad nyo kasing-ganda nyo din ako", nambobola ang ngiting sumilay sa mukha ni Luv bago nag-mano sa abuela.

Itinaas pa nito ang cellphone bago nagsalita ulit;

"Selfie tayo mamita ha? Just wanna flex how stunning my grandma is", dagdag pa nito bago narinig sa paligid ang shutter sound hudyat ng pagkuha nito ng litrato.

"Hi lola, glad you arrived safely. I had new collection of constellation that I originally captured. I'll show it to you later", masiglang wika ni Meesh.

Kasundo ng bunso ang lola nila dahil hilig ng matanda na  pagmasdan ang mga bituin.

"Grandma! You love surprises po talaga, don't you? I miss you lola", malambing na bati ni Acy sa lola nila bago ito niyakap nang mahigpit.

She even secretly whisper something on her abuela's ear.

The old lady then smile in delight before talking;

"Happy new year, mga apo. I miss all of you, let's enjoy this celebration then face the upcoming year with wonder", masayang wika nito.

She then instructed her grandchildren to do whatever they need to do.

"Rover and Naria, let's take a cup of green tea. Was the porch ready?", anyaya ng matanda sa mag-asawa.

Tumango ang mga ito bago inalalayan si Señora Sydvienna Yu papasok ng bahay.

Acoyssa's POV

Just as what we planned, Levinson arrived by seven PM sharp.

Not late nor advance.

His unannounced arrival surprised my parent, fortunately Nanay and Tatay didn't overreacted.

They just treat him casually and normally yet in a warm manner. No further biased.

On the contrary, upon meeting Levi, my sisters instantly voice out their thoughts and even do some bets behind his back.

"Nothing was wrong with the guy but I don't like hi--"

"You don't have to like him Luv, it's Acy whom he like", magkahalong pang-babara at pang-aasar ni Meesh kay Luv.

"I'm not talking to you, Ice princess!", ganting pangbu-bwisit ni Luv sa bunso naming kapatid.

"Whatever, 'walking eating machine'", hindi sumusukong sagot pa ni Meesh.

Tila natilihan naman si Luv at saka tinitigan ng masama ang kausap.

"It's not equal if we judge Levinson base on our gut feel and first impressions. We should spare him a chance", pangungumbinsi ni Eden sa dalawang makulit naming kapatid.

"Basta team boy deliveryman ako slash skateboarding athlete. Maka-alis na nga lang, ang lamig dito eh may kasama kasi tayong taong yelo.", displeasure was traceable through Luv's voice when insisting that she voted for Nighali.

"You can't fool us, E.M. short for eating machine, we know you'll just eat in the kitchen", pahabol pang tukso ni Meesh na narinig naman ni Luv bago ito tuluyang maka-alis.

"I'll go ahead too, pupuntahan ko pa si lola", paalam ni Meesh bago nito kami iwan ni Eden.

"Ate Acy? I don't have any bet, basta ang akin lang sana katulad ng pangalan ng shop natin, doon ka sana sa taong mahal at kailangan ka", makahulugang pahayag ni Eden.

She let out her angelic smile then continue talking;

"Balik na tayo sa baba, ate? Your visitor might be searching for you now.", nakangiti pa ding saad nito.

Kamusta kaya ang pakikipag-usap ni tatay kay Levi?

After bounty dinner, dad invited Levi for a coffee then he shoo me away.

Poor guy. Baka kung ano na ang sinabi sa kanya ni tatay!
