Acoyssa's POV

Of all the men I met before including those that I dated, Nighali is an exception.

Ni hindi ako nag-aksaya ng oras para magtype at i-text isa man sa kanila out of concern. In the first place, I didn't even exchange and give my personal contact number to any of them.

"Good bye everyone!", one of my officemate exclaimed cheerfully. Who wouldn't be happy after finishing all the paperworks that hunt us the whole day?

"Bye!", we shortly replied trying to match her energy even though we're actually tired and drain.

It's Holiday season, kaya kailangan na doble ang effort naming mga empleyado.

Nichella Finance and Business Company is a company that provides quality service in terms of Financial Analysis and Accounting.

That includes Bookkeeping as well as Credit and Debit Card Auditing.

Sa dami ng mga gumagastos ngayong Yule tide, credit cards are very much preferred and useful.

We even encounter accounts that end up with no balance then it's owner rants about the expenses. They're causing so much trouble then blame it to us afterwards by saying they weren't notified about their current account balance.

What a pain in the head!

However, this is what make this job challenging, kaya ko nga naging dream job ang maging isa sa competitive Financial Analyst ng Nichella Inc.

The thrill will never be out of stock, it will always be interesting and mind blowing.

But as of now, Support Staff muna ako as Sales Representative.

"Acy? You'll drive home?", kapagkuwan ay tanong ng isa sa mga kasamahan ko. We're all ladies.

"Uhm, yes. But it's Friday today so I think I'm gonna chill for a bit. I have to shrugged off the tiredness I'm feeling", I replied directly.

"Oh, then I'll leave first. I just badly want to rest by now. Can't party with you guys, bawi ako next time", one of my colleague responded.

"Me too. Pass muna ako sa pag-chill Acy, maybe some other time? I'm also tired", sagot naman ng isa pa sa kasama ko.

One by one, they disappear. So, solo flight ako? Ganoon? That's not a problem anyway.

Friday's my day. Tomorrow is my day off kaya naman okay lang kahit tanghali na ako magising.

I checked the time at my wristwatch and it says it's only 9pm, kaya nag-decide muna akong mag-freshen up. After thirty minutes, I reach the elite bar where I usually hang out.

Nakaupo lang ako sa bar stool ng abutan ako ng bartender ng isang cocktail drink. Hindi naman ako bobo para hindi malaman kung para saan ito.

Looks like someone want to hook me up huh?
In fainess, the drink is expensive. Just right for someone like me.

"From whom?", I curiously asked. It's been so long since I last flirted, a little chit chat won't hurt right?

The bartender look towards his left side, there's three guy in a group, so sino?

In fairness, they're all good looking.
One of them wink at me then smile sheepishly. So, he's the one?

While holding the drink that the bartender gave me, I hold up the glass and mouthed 'thank you'.

When I'm about to drink it, I shut it down on the counter then grin at him.

Wondering, the guy went near me.

"Don't you drink?", he playfully asked.

"I do.", then show him the original drink I'm taking.

Let's see how long could he take my attitude. Most of the guy who tried to flirt me end up with nothing.

"You don't like cocktail drinks?", he asked again.

"Would I reject your treat if I like it? Of course I don't!", sagot ko dito sa medyo tila naiinis nang tono.

Sa halip na sumuko tulad ng mga lalaking sumubok kagaya niya ay mas ngumiti pa ito nang nakakaloko. He look amused.

"How about me then? Don't you like what you see when you check me?", preskong tanong nito.

He's trying to piss me off too! This is getting exciting. He even flash his dashing smile.

"Honestly, Im not satisfied. I'm sorry. Hindi ka nakapasa sa first inspection pa lang. You didn't even introduce yourself. How rude.", patuyang sagot ko dito.

Tingnan natin kung maka-hirit ka pa.

Honestly, he's an eye catcher but being overconfident, he just end up like an arrogant jerk. Sayang. He should've been a good catch.

The guy groan in disappointment but smile afterwards;

"Well, I'm sorry, sweetie. My name's Levinson. And you are?", he asked politely.

Siguro naisip na nyang hindi ako kasama sa mga babaeng willing na makipaglaro sa kanya.

Though, I can sense he's still not accepting his defeat.

"Acoyssa Yu.", I shortly respond.

The guy laughs in an unbelievable manner making my right eyebrow raised.

"What's funny? Mukha ba akong nagbibiro?", tanong ko.

"I'm sorry, I just can't help it. Hindi kasi ako naniniwala", he replied wholeheartedly.

Disbelief was written all over his face.

Sabagay, that's the initial reaction of the person when they know what my name is.

"I know you're not lying. I'm not even making fun of your name, of course some parents surely want their child's name to be unique. But something's wrong.", Levinson explained.

"Anong mali?", nagtatakang wika ko dito.

"It's just.. hindi kasi ako naniniwalang akin ka. On the contrary, believe me sweetie, I can be all yours.", then the guy put on a sly smile then smirks.

What he said make me instantly blush, I guess Levinson just got his victory.
