Chapter 13

Acoyssa's POV

Today's the day before Christmas, I'm planning to go home by two o'clock in the afternoon.

According to the news updates, the road for incoming and outgoing vehicles is unbelievably lesser than usual.

Di hamak na mabilis ang daloy ng trapiko kaysa sa nakasanayan.

"Hi sweetie, Good Morning! Merry Christmas!", Levi enter in the kitchen then give me a peck on the cheeks.

I'm currently slicing some onion for his favorite omelette.

Last night he asked if he can stay in my unit because he just finished a meeting with a client nearby.
He even reason out that he terribly feel tired to drive home.

Naramdaman ko ang masuyong pagyakap nito sa akin from behind then he lean his chin on my left shoulder.

"You're going home, right? Hindi ba talaga ako puwedeng sumama?", panglalambing pa nito.

I can see him pout his lips too.
Humarap ako dito at hinawakan sya sa magkabilang pisngi;

"Levi, we talked about it right? How do you think can I introduce you to them huh? And my sisters will surely throw lot of questions to us. What should I say? That we met one night at the bar then--"

Bigla akong hinalikan ni Levi para patahimikin ako sa dire-diretsong pagsasalita.

I give way to his act then willingly respond to his kiss.

He only stop when we're out of breathe, idinikit ni Levi ang kanyang noo sa akin bago nagsalita;

"Then tell them that I'm your boyfriend and we're planning to get married.", puno ng sinseridad na wika nito.

"Levinson!", sigaw ko sa pangalan nito bilang babala na hindi ako nakikipag-biruan sa kanya.

"I'm dead serious, sweetie. Come on, why don't we talk about the real score between us?", inilayo na nito ang mukha sa akin at saka ako tinitigan ng nakakatunaw.

"There's nothing to talk about Levi. I'm sorry.", I let out a heavy sigh then leave him there.

That scenario is what I'm hoping to happen but now that it's here, I suddenly feel nostalgic.

My blood is rushing through my veins and my heart's pounding abnormally!

I think I'll hyperventilates any moment.

Dumiretso ako sa kwarto ko tsaka humiga sa kama habang sapo ko ang aking dibdib.

'What the hell was that? Did he just proposed to me?'

No, hindi pwede! Pero bakit hindi? Ugh! C'mon Acoyssa Yu!

Levi's a great guy. He got the looks, he has a stable job and most of all he is the 'Hero' and 'Prince Charming' from the stories you always act on.

The thought make me sigh heavily, ano ba? Geez.

My intra personal conversation's interrupted when I hear a couple of knocks on my room's door.

"Sweetie? May I come in?", masuyong paalam ng kumakatok which is none other than Levinson.

Kami lang naman kasing dalawa ang nasa unit ko. Umupo muna ako at sumandal sa headboard ng kama saka ko inayos ang aking hitsura.

Ilang saglit pa bago ako nag-pasyang magsalita;

"Go on. The door's not locked anyway."

A few more seconds then he finally came in. It's the first time that I saw him exhausted.

Lagi lang kasi syang cool and chill whenever he's with me. He sit beside me then face me thoroughly.

"Are you mad? Or you're just shocked?", he asked with visible sadness in his eyes.

He certainly look concerned.

"No Levi, hindi ako galit. Siguro nga nagulat lang ako. Yeah, probably. Don't worry, I should be sorry, I didn't mean to react that way. It's just--", Levi stop me from talking by putting his finger on my lips.

"Okay lang ako, sweetie. Iyong sinabi ko kanina, just forget about it. But that doesn't mean na hindi ako seryoso sa sinabi ko. It's true that I want to meet your family especially your parents so I could formally asked them if I can court you. Remember na hindi din kita pine-pressure so just remain calm and act normal. ", litanya nito bago ako masuyong niyakap.

My mind maybe in a blissful state but I surely treasure this guy.
