Acoyssa's POV

Luckily, after the mess I had with Levinson I still managed to go home but before that, unexpected thing occurred.

*flashback*

Levi left already after having a breakfast, he just told me to be careful when driving then bid his sweet goodbye.

Papasok na dapat ako sa kotse ko ng;

"Pwede ka bang maabala?".

Even if I don't look at the owner of that voice I already knew who it is.

I smile at him then answers;

"Syempre naman, Hal. We're friends, right?", the guy throw a slight smile at me before he clear his throat.

"May alam akong coffee shop malapit lang dito, walking distance lang. Superb ang pancakes nila doon. Okay lang ba sa'yo?", masuyong tanong nito.

I just nod at him then he lead the way. When was the last time I saw him? I can't remember at all. Four or five months ago? I don't know.

"Ahm, Acy? Saan ka pala papunta? Vacation?", pagbasag nito sa katahimikan habang naglalakad kami.

"No. I'm actually heading home, sa Antipolo", masayang kwento ko dito.

Sunod-sunod ang naging pagtango niya bago humarap sa akin.

Nahihiya ako nitong tiningnan saka pasimpleng inilahad sa aking harapan ang isang small size paper bag.

Where did he get it? Was he holding that all this time?

"Merry Christmas, Acy. Noong nakita ko kasi 'yan ay ikaw agad ang naalala ko. Simple lang nam---"

"Stop explaining Nighali. I sincerely appreciate it. Thanks!", I cut off his words then smile from ear to ear.

Again, he make my heart beat strangely.

I accepted the gift then my smile widen as soon as I saw what's inside, it's a box containing a pretty jewelry.

"So cute! I love it! Super thank you, Hal. Pasensya ka na ha? I honestly don't have anything in return.", my voice soften as I speak to him.

"Okay lang. No need to apologize, Acy.", then he pat my head as if I'm a kid.

The gesture is sweet but I can't avoid to twitch my lips.

"Do I look like a dog, Mister?!", paninita ko dito sa himig na tila nagtatampo.

"Walang aso na makakatumbas sa cuteness mo, don't worry", pang-aasar nito bago tumawa ng napaka-lakas.

Pinagtinginan tuloy kami ng ibang tao.
Hinampas ko sya sa braso bago ako nakisali sa pagtawa nya.

*flashback ends*

"Sissy! Hello? Acy to Earth! Nawawala ka na naman sa katinuan!", sigaw ni Luv sa harapan ko na nagpa-balik sa akin sa kasalukuyan.

Luv even wave her hand in front of me. Ka-hyper talaga nito.

"Tumigil ka nga, Luv. I'm fine, okay? I just remember something.", ani ko dito.

Mukhang hindi man convinced ay tumango-tango na lang ito.

"If I know, nagde-daydream ka lang naman.", panunudyo nito ng hindi nakatiis.

"Ate Acy, your bracelet look so cute. You buy it?, tanong ni Eden nang mapansin na bago sa paningin niya ang suot kong 'silver butterfly inspired bracelet'.

Halip na simpleng silver laces lang with a pendant ay sunod-sunod na mini-butterfly ang nagsisilbing base nito.
Each has a different color of gems that filled the wings.

"I bet it came from her 'so-called-friend' that we saw in her post long ago", sabad ni Meesh nang marinig ang sinabi ni Eineed.

Ang tinutukoy nito ay si Levi.

"It's a gift.. from a close friend.", nag-aalangan ang ngiti na sabi ko sa tatlong mausisang dalaga na kaharap ko.

Ngumisi ang mga ito at nang-iintriga ang tingin na ipinukol sa akin.

"Sinong close friend?", sabay-sabay na sabi ng mga ito.

"Fine, fine. So here it is, he's Nighali; iyong athlete na napag-usapan na rin natin dati..." And so, I told the whole history from the beginning up to the recent momentum that I had with Hal to my three curious sisters.
