"bokuto! get your ass over here and help me!" you shouted at your long-time best friend who was staring intensely at the tv, playing a game or something. you groaned, realizing that he wasn't going to be any help. bokuto, akaashi, and you were hanging at your apartment since class was cancelled and you were forced to make them dinner (since they were your guests) and bokuto wasn't being very helpful.

you turned your attention back to the boiling pot of water before you. the plan was to make pasta but unfortunately- neither you or bokuto have much experience in making food which is where akaashi comes in however he had gone to the bathroom to wash up from practice and it was your turn to cook.

"okay so you boil the water- then add salt... fuck is this even salt?" you glanced at the white substance inside the unnamed jar and waved it at bokuto who paid no attention. you scowled and rolled your eyes at him before you felt a familiar hand around your wrist and a familiar voice tickle against your neck.

"if i may, could i check (y/n)-san?" akaashi asked casually, gently pulling your hand down with the jar and took it out of your grasp. you flushed at his words and let him take it without a second thought. akaashi flashed you a gentle smile and dipped his finger in, tasting the substance and chuckled softly, "it's salt alright."

you blushed as he handed you the jar of salt back, akaashi slowly leaned in closer to you to look over your shoulder, "how is it coming along?" akaashi asked, smiling. you stuttered out, "f-fine. bokuto isn't much help..." you coughed, composing yourself.

akaashi chuckled, "he's always like that. do you need help?" you flushed again at his words- the EFFECT he has on you. "y-you always cook for us! i wanted you two to relax for a bit." akaashi smiled softly before he gently pressed his face against your back, taking a small breathe in. your breathe was caught in your throat as he slowly wrapped his arms around your waist, "a-akaashi?!" you whispered in panic, blushing.

he pulled away, laughing quietly, "sorry. i just wanted to do that. i didn't make you uncomfortable did i?" you shook your head, trying to hide the growing blush on your face.
akaashi smiled at your response and slowly made his way to bokuto before you suddenly blurted, "you would make a good housewife."

you wanted to scream- WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT- that was so cringeworthy and gross, god you wanted to jump into a hole and never come out again.

akaashi turned around, a lovely smile laced upon his lips, "i was hoping you'd be." which left you in absolute awe and more flustered than before.
