your eyes glossed over each and every member of the karasuno team in search of a certain dark haired setter. when your eyes finally landed on him, a wide smile grew on your lips as you loudly shouted his name.

kagayama jumped from the sudden shouting of his name, slowly turning around to find the familiar owner of that voice.

you were jumping up and down, a wide smile graced your lips as you shouted kageyama's name as loud as you could- exclaiming praises and whatnot. despite the loudness of the excitement already present in the gymnasium for this tournament, you somehow managed to scream beyond the trumpets and drums of the opposite team.

"TOBIOOOOOOOOOO!"

he winced at your loudness, a very very apparent blush on his face. he sighed, gently running his slender fingers through his neat hair. he had hidden your relationship from the team for a long ass time but hinata found out along with everyone else and he tried to make the whole relationship more subtle and subdued but hinata surely was not helping the situation.

the orange haired ray of sunshine seemed to also hear your loud, excessive shouting and turned around, spotting you on the high balcony and jumped up and down, waving at you. hinata screamed a hello at you saying, "HI KAGEYAMA'S GIRLFRIEND!"

you giggled at his words before leaning over the railing to shout, "HI HINATA! GOOD LUCK!" hinata beamed at your words and nudged kageyama who ignored hinata's attempt to provoke him. a sly smirk on hinata's face as he tried to nag the setter.

the game was starting to begin and kageyama was first up to serve. you noticed his fellow teammates, what was their names again...? oh! sugawara and yamaguchi along with nishinoya had formed a line, shouting, "GET THAT SERVICE ACE KAGEYAMA."

despite the encouragement, kageyama shot them a glare which shut them up immediately but turning his attention back to the game.

the whistle of the referee blew loudly, signaling the start of the game. you watched as your boyfriend took a deep breathe before tossing the ball up and starting his running start before he leapt into the air and smashed the ball towards the other side of the court.

the ball made a loud thud with the ground as it landed at the very corner of the court- no one made a single attempt to catch it before it fell. the gymnasium remained silent at this powerful serve before, of course, you interrupted the silence with a loud yell.

"THATS MY BABY OUT THERE! WAY TO GO TOBIO!"

you saw your boyfriend visibly shudder before turning his head to look at you as the crowd roared with excitement. a very angry expression on his face, displeased and embarrassed from your words. you noticed the dusting of pink which made you chuckle, sending him a smile as he sighed, shook his head and turned around as the ball returned to him.

"hey kageyama~ i didn't know (y/n) called you 'baby'-" kageyama shot a glare at his orange haired friend and started to smack the ball to the ground, displaying his anger at the middle blocker. "shut up you idiot- or im serving this ball right to your head." kageyama growled out. hinata gulped and turned around without another word. despite kageyama's embarrassment, he quite enjoyed the fact that you were claiming him as yours- even if he has that usual glare on his face.
