Marcies POV:
When I got to the bathroom I drapped my clothes over the empty towel rack and turned on the water. I slipped out of Alecs ripped up tank and dirty harem pants and threw them in a pile on the floor. I slowly and carefully began to unravel the bandages over my wrists and stepped into the shower. The hot water slowly ran down my hair and over my breasts. As soon as it got to my wrists was when I began to get weak. The stinging of my rope burn was so intense that it brought tears to my eyes. I bit down on my lip hard enough to draw blood. My knees began buckling until they couldn't hold my weight anymore and I crashed to the shower tile.
"Marcie? You alright?" I heard Alec's voice as he opened the bathroom door. "I went to go get you a towel and I heard a crash." I could see him standing by the frosted shower glass door; I tried to tell him I was fine but when I opened my mouth to speak, I lost my breath and had to gasp for more, sucking in water which sent me into a coughing fit. "Marcie?" he spoke again with more worry in his voice. I couldn't move. The bottom of the shower was filling with red liquid, informing me that I was about to feel more pain. "Marcie I'm coming in ok?" he stated more than asked. The shower door began to open slightly, sucking all the steam out which gave me goose-bumps.
Alec bent down infront of me without saying a word and examined my head. The water immediately drenched him, running down his dark hair and dripping off his nose and onto my breasts. He took some water and splashed my cut quickly, causing me to flinch. Once all the blood was gone he finally looked at me and asked "Are you ok?". I didn't speak, I just nodded embarassed. He brushed my wet hair from my face and kissed my fresh cut at my hairline. "How did you fall Marcie?" Alec wondered aloud. I wipped the water that was dripping from my hair into my eyes. "My wrists hurt." I whispered. Alec looked at them for a few minutes and then back to me. "Do you want me to help you?" I didn't answer him. Instead I stared at the brown tiled floor and watched as the water drained into the grate in the middle. Im guessing Alec took this as a "yes" because he began pouring liquid soap onto a wash cloth that he took from the shower caddy. He lathered it up until the suds were oozing from the material and began to brush it over my arms and legs. He was gentle, i'll give him that, but there wasn't much consideration towards my private parts. He scrubed them just as well as the rest of my body which made me a little uncomfortable. I tried not to make eye contact with him but he made it hard since he was so close to me. I sat with my legs crossed as he hovered just over me on his knees. I felt so vunerable being the only one without clothes. Once he was done washing my body he started on my hair, taking his shampoo and squeezing out generous amounts onto the top of my head. He shook my hair violently as if it were stained with dirt and chuckled. I couldn't help but look at him, his teeth were perfect. So perfect that they were almost too perfect, inhuman almost. He bit down on his bottom lip lightly, still smiling to himself. His plump lip was only half visible, the other half was no where to be seen and I don't know why but I missed it. And for some odd reason thats beyond me, I couldn't stand it. I smashed my lips onto his so hard it was as if a giant grey wave had crashed onto a boat and broke it in two. After all these days spent trying to get away from Alec, in this moment I wanted nothing more than him. I wanted to know that someone cared for me, that someone loves me. Ever since my dad grew distant, the loneliness just kept building and building unknowingly and I think it's reached the brim. Alec is the only male in my life now, the only protection against evil, which is weird because at the beginning I thought he was evil. But there is no doubt that he'd be in my life from here to forever, I might as well get comfortable.
Alecs reaction to my passion was one I didn't expect. At first he embraced the kiss I gave him but then suddenly retracted and gave me a weird look, as if I was in the wrong. It was at that moment where my dwindling fear turned into raging confusion.
