Marcie's POV:

I couldn't believe the nerve of that girl, flirting with Alec right in front of me.  She knew I was his girlfriend, he said it himself!  Alec's been gone for a little over an hour.  I knew he was hungry but I thought he was just going to grab a quick bite.  I was hungry too but I was upset with him.  I was forced to be his.  Alec kidnapped me and forced me to be his, (not that I was complaining now).  But it just hurt me to see him smiling at her girly flirtation.

I woke up in a white cloud of puffy covers.  It was honestly one of the best nights of sleep I'd gotten in a while, I needed it I've been cranky.  I rolled over to see the other half of the bed empty.  Alec never came home?  Now I was a little worried.  I looked up at the silver clock on the wall: 9:24.  I had to go look for him, he could be in trouble somewhere.  I quickly gave my face a look over in the mirror to make sure I didn't have any dried up drool on my face.  Nope, all clear.

I didn't bother getting dressed even though I was in a burgundy romper with no bra.  I opened the door slightly and peaked out to see if anyone was looking and to my surprise, there he was.  Alec was leaning against the door fast asleep.  What the fuck?  I swung the door open and watched as Alec fell backwards, hitting his head on the rug and woke in a startle.  He looked around as if he was confused as to where he was and then he saw me.

"Did you sleep out there all night?"

"I have a broken key remember?  I knocked on the door but I guess you were sleeping so I didn't want to wake you." he said slowly rising to his feet.

"What took you so long" I said quietly as I walked over to the bathroom, turning the shower on. "I was expecting you to be quick."

Alec's POV:

I wanted to tell her.  I knew she'd be mad but I deserved it.  I was drunk but not drunk enough to not know what I was doing.

"I had a few beers." I finally said.  I couldn't tell her.  I couldn't break her heart like that, she didn't deserve it.

She leaned against the doorway of the bathroom and looked at me softly.  "Well, I missed you." she said quietly, looking at the floor and pouting.  A smile grew on my face.  I was beginning to think Marcie was tired of me, but the sound of her voice said otherwise.  I walked over to her, grabbed her hips and placed my forehead to hers.  We stared at each other until our eyes crossed and we both laughed.  I did miss her.  I always missed her. "Get ready, babe.  We're leaving soon." I said kissing her forehead and nudging her towards the shower.

"Where are we going?"

"We can't see the world from a hotel babe." I reminded her and watched her hide a little smile as I closed the door.

We were on the road, once again.  I glanced over at Marcie whose hair was blowing in the wind.  She looked gorgeous.  I wanted to get as far away from this place as I could.  I wanted to show Marcie wonderful things.  I wanted to see her big smile, hear her contagious laughter.  I wanted to see her face light up like it does when her favorite song comes on.  I wanted to wake up to her morning bird habits and I wanted to keep her up as late as she could, which usually wasn't past midnight.  I just wanted her.  I wanted her personality, her body, and most of all her happiness.  And that's just what I got.  For the next week we were on the road.  We'd stop here and there in a parking lot to just get some rest.  Occasionally I just drove through the night and I'd get to watch Marcie dream about the next place we'd hit.  We'd already been to Charlottesville to see all the hot air balloons and now we're coasting down Skyline Drive.  Marcie really loves the blue mountains.  She keeps pointing out the prettiest ones.  I just smile and nod; they all look the same to me.

"You want to stop somewhere babe?" I ask her, taking her attention from the window. "I'm getting tired of driving."

"Sure." she said as she returned her gaze to the window. "I'd love to say here for awhile, it's so pretty."

We pulled off the drive and made it to a hotel.  It was the first one I could find.  We pulled up and got our bags from he backseat and rolled them to the front entrance.  I held the giant gold door for Marcie as she walked inside and stopped dead in her tracks.  She was staring at the ceiling which had a big swirl designed into gold sheet metal.

"Alec, this place looks expensive are you sure you wana-" I hushed her and kissed her forehead.

"It's perfect." I whispered as I motioned her to follow me to the front desk.  I wanted to do something nice for her.  She deserved it after all I put her through.  Her head was on a swivel as we walked through the hotel.  She pointed out everything to me as if I didn't see it which made me laugh.  She was so easily excited, it was cute.

We finally reached our room.  I asked the front desk for a nice room while Marcie was busy looking at her distorted reflection in a koi pond.  The lady gave me a wink and said she'll put us in the red hot room.  Oh Lord.  I opened up the big door to our abode and ushered Marcie inside and she immediately died with laughter.  There was a nice fireplace opposite of the silky bed and a mirrored ceiling.  The bed had about twenty heart shaped pillows on it followed by a bottle of wine and a big fuzzy red towel.

"What you don't like it?" I asked with a sinking heart.  I thought it'd be romantic, girls love that shit.  She walked over to the red silk curtains and pulled them back revealing a bright orange sunset peaking over the rolling mountains.

"Oh my gosh it's so beautiful!" she squealed and jumped around.  Well at least she likes the view.  I smiled and held her from behind as we both watched the sunset from the giant window.  It was nice, especially with her.  I kissed her cheek and hugged her tight.

"Get some rest babe, we have a big day tomorrow."
