My heart sank. I stepped backwards, out of Gabe's grasp. My heart was in my stomach as I was losing breath, and fast. I felt like my life was falling apart right in front of me.
"Leila..." Mitra gasped, reaching out a shaking hand towards me.
"That's enough, Gabriel." Jaxon stated, stepping into my apartment. Gabe flicked his hand, and Mitra let out a sigh of relief, taking deep breaths to calm herself down.
Jaxon was in all white, and his hair was tied up. His eyes were golden, the same way I saw him in my dream.
Gabe grabbed and pulled Mitra up by her hair, as she let out a cry. "I thought you would be stronger than this, succubus." He spat, looking at her with disgust. "Let go of her, Gabe." I said. As much as I knew things were going to go south, I was not willing to see any of my friends hurt.
He dropped her back down, but with a snap of his fingers Mitra's hands were bound behind her, as she laid on my floor.
"We have a lot to discuss. Let's go," Jaxon said, reaching his hand out for me to grab. I started to shake my head, as I glanced back at Mitra. "I'm not going anywhere she isn't," I said.
Gabe chuckled to himself, "You don't want to go where she's going, sweetness." he hissed, his eyes were dark.
He didn't look like his normal self either, his usually bright green eyes were now black, matching the pupil in the center of his iris. He had grown a few inches, along with Jaxon. They were both towering over me, and very obviously too large for my small apartment.
"Now, Leila." Jaxon was still standing with his hand out to me. I was hesistating, looking between my childhood bestfriend-who was now my soulmate's sister, apparently-and the man who's protected me from harm my whole life.
My hand was shaking and I slowly reached for Jaxon, as he pulled me towards him. He quickly guided me out of my apartment, leaving Gabe and Mitra behind.
Mitra
I couldn't breathe. There was something like a mask over my mouth, and a blindfold over my eyes. My heart was pounding, and I felt weak.
I heard shuffling, feeling the presence of someone standing in front of me.
The blindfold was then ripped from my face, exposing my surroundings and the scene in front of me. It was Gabriel, standing in front of me, keeping a safe amount of distance between us. His appearance was cleaned up compared to the last time I'd see him. Wearing a black shirt and black jeans, that both clung to his body exposing his shape. God, why was I turned on all of a sudden?
"You're a piece of shit for doing this to us." he stated flatly. I was taken aback and sat up straighter to look at him.
"Aren't you a wizard, Gabriel?" I mocked him, tilting my head to the side. "You must not be that good of a wizard if you couldn't put two and two together as to why I've always been with Leila, just as much as you and your little posse." I spat, and I wasn't lying. Not that I intended to make it obvious that I'm Makari's sister, but there were some things about Leila and I's relationship that were out of the ordinary. I was always so sure he would figure it out.
"I couldn't read you..." he said at a whisper, almost like he was telling it to himself. "I couldn't read your disgusting succubus mind, Mitra." he growled, looking up to face me. He made his way over to me, standing right in front of me so that I had to look up to face him.
