It had been a few weeks since we found out about Mitra. Things were pretty okay with Jaxon, Ariel, Mitra and I. Gabe hardly came by anymore, unless he absolutely had to. It was still weird between him and Mitra, and I didn't know how long it would take for them to get back to normal, not that I was complaining.

I hadn't seen Makari in any of my dreams, and we hardly ever talked about him, obviously. It was hard, but I had to keep it myself. I didn't want to keep nagging Jaxon about the possibility of me being with him. It was like beating a dead horse at this point, as he wasn't budging on his decision. Every time I thought about Makari, though, the mark on my hip would start to burn. I didn't know why, so I tried not to focus on him for long periods of time.

I was sitting in the living room with Mitra, flipping through different TV shows.

Ariel, 5:56pm
"im at the store, do u guys need anything?"

Mitra, 5:57pm
"condoms ;)"

Ariel, 5:57pm
"... im gonna pretend u didnt say that"

Leila, 5:58pm
"orange juice plsssssss"

Ariel, 5:59pm
"kk :p"

Jax, 6:00pm
"condoms arent a bad idea"

Ariel, 6:00pm
"do u wanna sleep in the basement? :)"

Leila, 6:01pm
"asdfghjklwoekds"

Jax, 6:01pm
"u wouldn't"

It was weird seeing Jaxon and Ariel act like normal 20 year olds, knowing that they were much older than that, but I liked it. It was better than them being intense all the time, or being super overprotective. It felt like things were back to normal.

Mitra sighed, tossing her phone to the side. I continued to flip through the channels, still trying to find something to watch. Mitra sighed again, this time more exaggerated and loud. I suppressed the grin growing on my face, realizing what she was doing.

"UGHHHHHHHHHH," she groaned, looking straight at me. I turned my head, "Oh, is there something you need?" I asked, sarcastically. She glared at me, then stood up. "I have a brilliant idea," she said, placing her hands on her hips. "And what would that be?" I asked, giving up on finding anything to watch, I set the remote down next to me.

"We should go out tonight," she said, holding her head high. I laughed, "You really think Jaxon or Ariel would let us go out?" I asked, looking up at her. Mitra rolled her eyes, "They can come too! They used to party with us all the time, it's not anything new now!" she whined. I shrugged, "I don't know...But if you want to go, you're asking, not me." I said. "Perfect," she said, an evil grin on her face.

Mitra, 6:11pm
"ariel and jaxon. i have a request."

Jax, 6:13pm
"??"

Ariel, 6:13pm
"you're gonna ask to do something tonight arent u"

I laughed out loud, watching Mitra's mouth drop as she looked at her phone. "How did she know!?" she asked. I shrugged, "I don't know, maybe she can read minds too." I joked. Mitra shot me a glare, "Too soon?" I asked, giving her a weak smile.

Mitra, 6:15pm
"ok maybe but like dont get mad"

Jaxon, 6:16pm
"no."

Mitra, 6:17pm
"WHY?"

Ariel, 6:17pm
"hmmm. just wait til im back home im almost there"

Mitra, 6:18pm
"ok ;)"

Mitra sat back on the couch. "If they say yes, I might actually shed a tear," she said, "We've been cooped up in this house for so LONG!" I laughed, "It's been like...two weeks" I said. "Yeah, my point exactly, too long." she huffed.
