•Chapter seventeen

Robyn's POV
Ashely and i hung out everyday, we were even spending new years together. although i couldn't help thinking about what would happen when we got back to school, we were now friends with the most popular people so does that make us popular? is Ashely, Jasmine, Jason, Liliana, Mia and i going to be the perfect posse or are we all going to be weirdos? i sighed from my thoughts as the group and i was sat in the tree house.
"who else can't wait for school again" Jason said sarcastically and everyone moaned.
"i know like why can't our whole lives be one big holiday? if i ran a school everyone would be off school" Mia said and we all laughed, Ashely squeezed my hand and i smiled up at her.
"at least we're all friends, maybe school will be easier as we're together" Ashely said and Jasmine smiled at Ashely.
"we are the new popular group, the better group. we are going to change the face of the popular posse for the best." Jasmine said, Mia held up her mug of hot chocolate.
"cheers to that" she said, we all cheered and drunk our hot chocolate. it was nice how we all became friends and now we all were friends.
"so what are we going to do for new years?" Jason asked putting his arm around Jasmine who snuggled into him.
"i vote we have a massive sleepover here and a party with all of us." i said and everyone looked happy.
"that sounds like a great idea!" Liliana said, i smiled to myself for contributing to the group.
"we should play never have i ever, fingers up everyone!" Mia said slightly drunk as she put baileys in her hot chocolate. we all put our fingers up and Mia smirked.
"never have i ever stolen something?" Mia said and Jason places down one finger. we all looked at him shocked and he smirked.
"tell us!" Ashely exclaimed.
"okay okay fine, i was twelve and we went into a candy shop. my mum said i can have candy if i brought it for myself. so i went over there and picked up a chocolate and something i didn't want. i put the thing i didn't want on top of a little girls backpack and as the alarm went off for her i walked out." Jason explained obviously proud of himself. we all looked shocked and placed our fingers back into the air.
"never have i ever dated someone of the same gender?" Jason said sticking out his tongue at us, we all laughed. Ashely, Liliana, Mia and i placed a finger down and Ashely spoke up.
"never have i ever had a hickey" Ashely said sticking her tongue out at Jasmine and Jason. they both placed one of their fingers down.
"never have i ever jumped into a lake with you best friend" Jasmine said and she put a finger down, so did Ashely. we carried on talking and hanging out for the rest of the day, Ashely and i went our separate ways. when i arrived home i was greeted by my mum.
"hey mum, how are you?" i said and she looked at me.
"i know" she said and i looked at her confused.
"what are you talking about?" I said. she took a sip of her tea and looked back at me.
"that your dating Ashely, hunny it's okay. i will always love you and don't worry i won't tell your dad" my mum said as tears fell down my cheek. she embraced me into a loving hug.
"how did you find out?" i asked into her shoulder.
"you can't kiss your girlfriend infront of our house an expect us not to see." She joked but u didn't laugh, i was physical and mentally exhausted.
"how are things with you and Ashely?" My mum asked as i pulled away from her. i smiled sadly and pulled my sleeves over my hands.
"good, Ashely and some of our friends are spending new years together." i said and my mum nodded. we finished up our conversation and i headed up stairs. i flopped back onto my bed and sighed. i let tears silently fall down my face and i walked into the bathroom. i picked myself in and found the pack of shaving blades under the sink. i grabbed one and sat on the toilet. i brought the blade to my skin and winced as a line was added to the jungle of scars that patterned my arms. i splashed my face with water and went back into my room and scrolled through stuff on my phone when i got a message from Lilith.

so Jason and Jasmine seem....interesting. what's their problem? i need to know the rest story x
Me:
i mean you know most of the story but i will tell it from the beginning i guess. well Ashely,Jason and Jasmine used to be the perfect posse. Jason and Ashely were the 'it' couple. i got nothing but grief from them except from Ashely as you know. you also know about her massive outburst and that's kind of how we got together. then what i didn't tell you is we were at the wedding we all got snowed in together and we kind of all made up then. but is it just me or could you sense something off between them? x

maybe anyways i should get some sleep considering i won't get any tomorrow 😂x

i put my phone down and fell asleep.
