Chapter XX

He was hesitant to open the door and face Yunho. He didn't know if he'd be able to control himself enough to drink from the animals instead of himself. At least he wasn't stupid enough to just enter the room without any food and then being surprised that Yunho would attack them. Yes, he was very annoyed by how stupid Mingi had been acting lately and he hoped it wouldn't result in Seonghwa getting hurt. Again. It was his worst move to this day, and knowing that it made Seonghwa uncomfortable too ... He had developed a weak spot for the ravenette. Not in a romantic way, just that he cared a lot about him. He knew that Seonghwa didn't find it easy to trust others, definitely not when he didn't remember anything anymore. It was also partly Hongjoong's fault for telling him false information. Seonghwa had told him a lot about what Hongjoong had told and many things were just not true. He remembered it clearly when Seonghwa was practically forced to share a room with Mingi. He was so scared.

"Sangie, can I ... Can I share a room with you? I really don't want to ... Be in the same bed as him." Seonghwa had been crying the whole time ever since he entered the room. Even Yeosang didn't know it went this far.

"Hwa, what did Hongjoong tell you about Mingi?" Yeosang said, going straight to the point.

"Apparently he is obsessed with me. In a romantic way. I'm so scared he'll do something to me, hyung. He's always been acting so weird and ... I mean, I'll be sharing a bed with him. It wouldn't surprise me if he does something. It would be a great opportunity for him ..." Seonghwa sniffled, burrying his face in Yeosang's neck immediately after.

"Seonghwa, I promise Mingi isn't anything like that. He would never do anything like that to you. Yes, there's romantic interest, but it's not anything like Hongjoong said. You don't remember, I understand that. But there was something more between you and Mingi, and it's too hard for him to move on. And that's understandable. I promise, if anything happens, I'll take all the blame. You can be comfortable with him. And if it's really too much for you, you can always come over and sleep in my bed. I'll just sleep on the couch in the living room. Okay?" Yeosang tried to negotiate. It was really hard for Seonghwa, but he had to get over it in order to maybe get his memory back. The more time he spent with Mingi, the more chances there were for improvement.

"F-fine ..." But he didn't move. He just stayed with his head resting on Yeosang's shoulder. Okay, maybe Yeosang had been lying to himself way too much, but he would never admit this made him feel some way. Seonghwa was the only one he had skinship with and the only one Yeosang actually let. No, Seonghwa and Mingi belonged together and he wouldn't be the one standing in between that. As long as he could see Seonghwa's beautiful smile, no matter if it was because of himself, Mingi or for god's sake, every other person in this world, he would be happy. Take that from him and he'd not spare you. Hurt Seonghwa and he'd ruin your life.

Yeosang finally found the courage to open the door and looked at the older laying on his bed. He immediately noticed how he was so close to death. The brunette carefully put the bag down, staying as far away of the older as he could.

"Hyung, I brought food with me. I hope you don't mind that they're dead already, but I couldn't bring living animals with me." He carefully smiled, noticing the starving look in Yunho's pink eyes. He really was like a wild animal right now. A scared wild animal. No, terrified. Yunho never looked away from Yeosang while making his way over to the animals that fell out of the bag. Some hisses escaped his mouth, warning Yeosang not to make a single move. Only when he reached a look little mouse, he looked away while draining it. Of course Yeosang heard the sucking, but it wasn't as if he wasn't like that himself. Yunho grabbed another animal, slightly bigger this time, and retracted to a corner. After at least 8 of the creatures being drained, he started to look like his normal self again.
