It was late already when everyone has sat down around the table they were going to play a game on. Wooyoung looked around and saw all the couples together. Seonghwa and Mingi were sitting at his furthest left. They were sitting closely to each other, holding hands. After talking about everything and giving each other enough time to get over everything, their relationship started to go back to a healthy state. No one felt forced to be happy every second and they told each other practically everything. Hongjoong and Yunho were still a bit awkward. Things happened between them that just didn't make it too easy to just be together. Besides, they didn't want to rush anything. It was better to take it slow and make this a steady relationship rather than having it ended in a mess again. Hongjoong whispered something to the blonde, before softly pecking his cheek. It made Wooyoung feel warm inside, even though it hurt his heart as well. On his right, Sehyoon and Byeongkwan had forgotten about everyone else. The youngest of the two had found his way on the other's lap and they were being all lovey-dovey with each other. The way they looked at each other said more than a thousand words. It was clear they loved each other so so much. Of course Wooyoung still remembered Sehyoon from university, but he never really knew his own brother had already a crush on him back then. Luckily they found each other again. But Wooyoung couldn't help but feel lonely, being surrounded by all these couples. It was too much today, even though the boy didn't know why he felt this way now so suddenly. He missed him.

"Guys, I'm so sorry, but is it okay if I visit San for a moment? I just... I don't know." Wooyoung excused himself, noticing the others' emphatic looks as well. He just wasn't in the mood to play games tonight. Wooyoung stood up quickly, making his way to his own room. They all had moved in with each other after Wooyoung and Byeongkwan's house had burned down. It was sad, but inevitable. Besides, hurtful memories were erased with it as well.

The boy hesitated, before opening the door as silently as possible. He looked at the boy laying on the bed, but Wooyoung didn't want to wake him up. He softly sat down on the bed, removing the awakening boy's hair out of his eyes.

"Good morning." He said with a low tone, showing that he only just woke up. Wooyoung found it sexy, but he wasn't going to raise San's ego any more.

"It's evening, you dummy. You slept through the day as if you didn't care at all." Wooyoung smiled, stroking the boy's cheek softly. He wanted to kiss him, but was too hesitant to take action.

"Why do you look the best in the evening? I wouldn't mind waking up so late every time if that means I can see you like this." San flirted, still a bit hazy because of the pain and just having woken up. Wooyoung couldn't help but let some tears roll down his face. He hated seeing San in this state, hurt and unsure about the future. He wished San would be more honest about everything. If only he would show how much pain he actually was in or show more emotions, that would make everything much easier. "Hey, don't cry." San whispered, wanting to sit up a bit more to wipe away the boy's tears, but groaned in pain after a failed attempt.

"Don't move, you idiot." Wooyoung said angrily, not wanting San to open up the wound again. It would make matters even worse now that it was healing probably.

"You don't have any food with you accidentally? I'm just so hungry... Can I really not try the pills now? I'm fine, so it'll do its job just like it works for all of you." San tried, but Wooyoung wasn't having it. Of course he would much rather see San happy without having to suffer every time he had to eat. But the healing process would get slowed down by a big amount if he didn't get fed properly. They all had to go through the process of getting the pills to work for them, which wasn't as easy as one might think. Of course Wooyoung was proud of his brother for making this and happy that he and Hongjoong worked together so well to help all of them. It was surprising for him to see a much better side of the older man. It was weird how the events of that day had turned everything around. For the better, luckily.
