"We shouldn't meet anymore. It's too dangerous." The brunette said while holding the other's hands in his own. He didn't want this to be a farewell. Not so soon.

"Why? Is it about your family? I really want to meet them and I'm sure they'll accept me even if it's just to make you happy. Please, don't break up with me. I love you and that's the most important. As long as we love each other, we can do everythi-" The blonde got cut off mid sentence.

"You don't understand. They'll hurt you, Wooyoung. I don't want you to get hurt. So if I have to break up with you in order to protect you, I'll do that." He insisted. Once he had made up his mind, there was no changing it.

"At least let me meet them. Just once. You don't know what they'll do if I haven't even met them. Just give me one last chance, okay?" He was trying to change San's mind, even though it was hard to do. He had to keep his hopes up.

"F-fine ... But you can't be mad at me if something happens. I did warn you." He finally gave in, sighing when the younger wrapped his arms around his neck and pressed a small kiss on his cheek.

"Thank you thank you thank you! Sannie, I love you so much! Thank you!" He was making the brunette blush in embarrassment by yelling loudly.

"S-shut up, Woo." He stuttered before locking their hands together and continuing their way. San guessed Wooyoung hadn't seen the red, glowing eyes that were staring at them from a dark alleyway. Disappointment was clearly visible in them.

He wasn't ready for the scolding. Or even worse, the silent treatment. He didn't want to hurt or disappoint his hyung, but he didn't want to lose Wooyoung. He had to understand how much he loved the younger even though he was a human. To him, it didn't matter. But he was scared the others would think of it differently.

"What are you thinking about?" Wooyoung's sweet voice entered his ears and his attention was immediately focused on him.

"Nothing for you to worry about, Woo. Just thinking about how I'll tell this to them." San sighed, looking in the beautiful brown eyes of the blonde. He was also scared about Wooyoung finding out what he was. What if he hated him afterwards? What if they acted all creepy and scared Wooyoung away forever? What if-

He felt the soft lips from the blonde on his own, immediately melting into the kiss. He shouldn't be worrying now. He just enjoy this moment because it might be the last time he'd be able to call Wooyoung his. After he met his so-called family, he wouldn't want to see him ever again. He understood. He wasn't normal. He was a monster. And Wooyoung would think so too. They all do.

"If it's bothering you, I should know too. You don't have to hide anything from me. I'll always be here for you, okay?" A soft smile appeared on his face. "I'll always love you."

"I ... I love you too." San gave a small smile back.

"You know I'm disappointed in you, San. I warned you so many times and now you invited him here? Do you even know how dangerous it is for him? If he gets hurt, don't come and blame me." There was something about Mingi's calmness that made San even more scared. He knew how angry Mingi was and he knew how stupid he was being. He wanted to protect Wooyoung but that idiot only brought problems to himself.

"I didn't invite him and you know that well enough. He invited himself. What did you want me to do, Mingi?" He started to get angry himself, even though he had no right to be. He didn't know why he suddenly felt like yelling.

"You had to break up with him like I told you but you decided it would be better to be that perfect boyfriend you pretend to be and keep lying even though you can get him killed!" San was frozen for a moment after his friend's outburst. He normally stayed calm and rarely ever got angry. San realised he really fucked up.

"I can't change it now, so we just have to see how that dinner goes. And for now you're going to stay calm. I know you're worried, but I got this, okay? Letting Wooyoung get hurt is the last thing I would let happen right now. He ... He means more to me than you could ever imagine, Mingi." San tried to get Mingi on his side for now. He had to realise how much Wooyoung meant to him.

"You don't know shit, San. You weren't here when ... When S- when it happened. Yunho was here, he understands. But you weren't here San. You don't understand at all. I just don't want it to happen again." San saw how Mingi was struggling to not burst out in tears, but he had no clue what the redhead was talking about. He wasn't here when something happened, but that also meant he didn't know what he should be scared of happening again.

"I'm sorry that I don't know, but that also means I don't know what to be careful about. I understand you don't want to talk about, but you can't blame me for not knowing then."

"I'm going to Yunho." Mingi quickly added and left the room in a hurry. San knew the other was going to cry there. He didn't want to hurt him by this subject, but he just wanted to know what had happened. He could only guess for now ...
