"Hey? Ayos ka lang?" Mahinahon kong tanong habang nakadikit sa tenga ko ang cellphone ko.

(I'm good. Why'd you ask that?) Napabuntong hininga ako dahil sa isinagot ni Vairel sa akin. His cousins called me because they thought that maybe... just maybe.. Vairel would open up to me. He's in hell now because he's heartbroken.

"Vairel, you can talk to me." Masuyo kong saad. Alam kong nahihirapan siya. As what has Valerie told me, naging mailap na raw si Vairel mula nang nawala si Fely a month ago. At ngayon ko lang nalaman. Fely just left without notice and that broke Vairel. Mahal na niya yun, e.

(I know. I'm hanging up. I have some things to do.) Hindi ko na magawang magprotesta pa dahil pinatayan na ako agad ni Vairel ng tawag.

He's sad. I'm sad for him because he's in this kind of situation again. Sana lang ay maramdaman niyang nandito lang kami at nasa likod niya lang.

I stared at my own reflection in the mirror. I put my long hair into a messy bun so tht I can see my face clearly. My cheeks are still chubby and my face no longer carries big round glasses. I like this better. Mas gusto kong walang salamin dahil medyo mahirap iyon kapag marami akong ginagawa. I now use contact lenses to see clearly. Share ko lang din.

The past few days has been busy. Well, for Agust. He has a hectic scedule. Wala naman kasi akong trabaho at tambay lang dito sa bahay. While Agust, he is preparing for their concert here in Seoul. He calls every morning, noon, and evening. And who am I to ignore his calls, diba? Sinasagot ko lahat iyon kahit pa naririnig ko ang kaingayan ng mga kaibigan niya sa kabilang linya.

After looking at myself for few minutes, I decided to go to the kitchen to prepare some food. I'm not a good cook. I'm not good in cooking but I can bake. Kaya naman ay nagsimula na akong gumawa ng double layered chocolate sponge cake. Tama pa naman ang oras para kapag nasa-oven na siya at maliligo naman ako.

After putting the cake in the oven, I went to my room to take a shower. I wore a simple light blue statement shirt which says 'Just turn the pages' which was from the cartoon series star and the forces of evil, it was always stated by the protagonist Star and a black ripped jeans to complete my outfit. Tapos ay bumalik na ako sa kusina habang isinusuot ang apron ko dahil baka marumihan ang damit ko kapag inaayos ko n ang cake.

I prepared my fruits which will be used as toppings of the cake. I'm using strawberries, blueberries, and cherries. Blueberry and cherries lang sana kaso ay paborito ni Bwii ang strawberries kaya lalagyan ko na dahil baka magtampo pa.

It took me almost an hour to perfect my cake. I tool a picture of it and uploaded it in my fb so that I can brag it. Yes, I brag it.

I was busy carefully putting the cake inside a box when my phone beeped. Maingat ko munang inilapag sa mesa ang cake bago ko kinuha ang cellphone ko na nasa may ref pang din naman. I was wondering why Agust texted me but my wonders vanished when I read his message. Of course.

From: Agust
Baby... favor please! Buy some peaches on the way? Jinji forgot to ask Ruk when he asked him to buy groceries earlier. Need it for the spicy noodles. Take care. Love you. 😘

Everything in his message was fine except from the kiss emoji. Hindi ko rin talaga maintindihan ng lalakeng 'yon. He was so confused at Bwii because he kept on using emojis while texting and he even said that it's confusing and useful... but now? He's using it! Jesus!

Naiiling na ni-reply-an ko lang siya. I said 'okay' then continued placing the cake in the box. When I was finally finished, I put it in the ref to let it cool while I fix myself. I powdered myself and put on some lipstick before combing my hair. Hinayaan ko lang iyong bumagsak tsaka ko kinuha ang bag ko sa kama at lumabas na. I dropped by in a local market to buy peaches as per Agust's request and also brought square watermelons on the way because they looked so delicious and fresh and I am so positive that they'll love these.
