Chapter 2 - Good Luck

Hasu POV

"Shit!"

Jumping out my window, I run on the rooftops of the peaceful town. I must have been really tired because I slept a little longer than I usually do. Resulting in me being a little late for my first and final day of the academy.

Finally seeing a red roof, I speed walk through the empty halls to my designated classroom. Opening the door a tall man with a scar on his face looks down at me, sharing a warm smile.

"You must be our new student, please come in."

Walking in I hear multiple gasps throughout the room which followed small whispers on my appearance. All saying good things but that doesn't stop me from feeling a little flushed.

"Now class calm down, may you please introduce yourself?"

I look at him and nod, "My name is Hasu, it's nice to meet you all."

Sensei smiles, "Does anyone have any questions for Hasu?"

Multiple hands rise so I picked one out of the crowd.

"You don't have a last name?"

I nod, making many whispers once again, they start to die down as I choose another hand. I choose a certain pink-haired girl, "Do you find anyone attractive! Like Sasuke-Kun!?"

She starts to squeal with almost all of the other girls in the class. I tilt my head a bit, "Who?"

A blond girl with dull blue eyes points at a gloomy kid with an odd hairstyle. His energy is hateful and negative, I frown at him and glare at the googly-eyed girls.

"Well that's stupid, not only does he seem like a jackass he looks weird. Like a ducks butt, why would I find that attractive? Not only that but I don't even know him, I just got here!?"

While some of the boys in the class seemed to relax a bit, while the girls glare at me. They start to shout at me claiming that I'm stupid and that he was there's. Which led to an argument among themselves.

I sigh, 'What a pain.'

I turn my head to notice a bright-colored boy, bright blond hair, an orange jumpsuit and a pair of beautiful blue eyes that seemed to make it all work. He was tied up, so I walked over to his and let him loose.

He gives me a bright smile, jumping up in an excited manner.

"Thanks for untying me! My name is Naruto Uzumaki! And I'm going to be Hokage one day! Believe It!"

I give him a small smile, appreciating his bright and welcoming energy.

"I believe it, you'd make a great Hokage!"

This makes the room grow quiet as he stares at me with wide eyes, he must not get that answer a lot. Oh well, I hope we can be friends.

I hear someone clear their throat, turning around to see Sensei give me a small smile.

"Naruto return to your seat. Hasu you can sit next to Shikamaru, raise your hand please."

He does so, 'The boy from the other day.'

I walk up the stairs and plop down next to him. As Sensei give us a small lecture I start to feel a wave of drowsiness, resulting in me falling asleep.

Sometime later I feel someone poke me, sitting up to see it's Shikamaru I yawn. Giving him a small thanks as we start our test.

From written to shuriken to taijutsu, I do all with ease getting a perfect score with each task. Finally the day end with creating a hinge and making shadow clones, due to my high chakra. Walking back to class with a headband in my head I sit next to Shikamaru as Sensei gives us a small speech.

Leaving I notice how almost everyone's parents crowed around the academy. Looking around I notice a certain blond sitting on a swing. I walk over to him, "Hey Naruto, why so down?"

He keeps his head down, "I didn't pass, I couldn't make a clone! They always come out looking funny!"

I think for a moment and smile, "Naruto look at this."

I make a regular clone, only for a weird blob to pop up. Naruto's eyes widened, "That's what happens to mine! How come you passed!"

I giggle at his shocked expression, "Your clones look like that because you have a lot of chakra like me, you have to make a shadow clone instead of a regular one."

He starts to look sad but nods anyway, "I'll teach you how to do it if you find Sensai and show him maybe he'll let you pass!"

He jumps up, giving me a big hug.

"Thank you! Please teach me!"

I nod, "Follow me!"

I walk through the woods to give us a little privacy, showing him the hand signs along with simple instructions on how it should feel and what to imagine.

An hour goes by, succeeding he makes 3 perfect shadow clones. He starts to celebrate giving me another hug before saying farewell.

"Good Luck!"

I smile, making my way to the market to get some stuff for dinner tonight.

No POV

Before he could make it to Iruka Sensei, Mizuki gets in the way telling him to steal the scroll. Thanks to Hasu he didn't need to be by the angered hateful man. This led him to pour his rage out, giving up the village secret and revealing to Naruto what was inside of him.

Before he could attack the stunned boy, Iruka saves him. Seeing his teacher in such pain, learning about how much he cares for Naruto sparked his own will of fire. Defeating Mizuki with over a hundred shadow clones, Iruka gives him the headband he deserves.

Allowing Naruto to take his first solid step to becoming Hokage.
