Chapter 47 - An End

Hasu POV

Allowing my blade to extend, I turn my head, "We went with your plan, and yours too, Sasuke, but I think it's my turn. So follow my lead, ok?"

Letting the portal push them I stand-alone with Kaguya. Black Zetsu speaks up, "You foolish girl, thinking you can face the mighty Kaguya all alone? No wonder you never lived long."

Holding my sword, I march on, ready to attack, Kaguya seeing that she's weak teleports us into another world. She floats high in the sky, and I do the same. Exchanging blows, I try to focus on close combat and weaponry. I even let my tails and chain move with me as he hit her a few times.

Letting my chakra strengthen my moves, I focus no longer feel the clone that I sent with them. Distracting her with many more replicas, I slice her arm, moving in to attack her once more.

Moving quickly, she moves to another portal matching her speed. I do the same, meeting her every location as we fight vigorously. Falling into the next one, I smirk, watching her fall.

"NOW!"

Both try to reach her, but she moves elsewhere; Sakura uses this chance to throw a punch her way. Moving her into place, the two touch her with their marked hand; I place both hands on her face as my mark begins to glow. Watching her third eye close and seal, a star rest on her last eye, I smile as I fall. The world around us changes as the maiden reverts back to the 10 tails only to be sucked into itself as the other tailed beast are separated and free.

Feeling weak, a ball of fur wraps around me; seeing the orange hue, I smile. "Oto-san."

While the others panic, I smile at my teammates as my tails swing proudly. Feeling myself get pulled, all of us are summoned back to the battlefield. Seeing the six paths, I jump down to the others; seeing that he summoned us with all the Hokage's help, I smile.

"Naruto, Sasuke, Hasu, and the rest of you too. You all did excellent work in saving the world."

Smiling at him as he thanks us, feeling the pain once again, I feel myself get pick up. Looking up, I smile, "Oto-san!"

He smiles down at me, "My little lotus, you're in pain."

"I could never hide anything from you."

Naru-chan rushes over to Oto-san, teasing him and making him blush. The 6-Paths speaks up, "My children."

The Oto-san's brothers and sisters look down at the floating man. "Please use this fragment of yourselves and allow Hasu, Kurama's daughter, to live the rest of her days without pain."

They smile, looking at me they nod, I can't help but cry from their comforting words as the love in my heart overpowers the pain in my body.

As the sun rises, I stand next to the sage, my ears twitch as my tears roll down my face. They each give their thank you's and regards as they fade and surround me with their warmth and light. Feeling their chakra merge with mine, my body's pain eases as their whispers begin to vanish for good. The only two standing fronts of me are Oto-san and Octo Oji-san, with the rest of his chakra. I let my kitsune form fade, turning to see Naru-chan giving his final goodbyes to his father.

I can't help but smile as the tears continue to fall. Walking over to Naru-chan slowly, I look up at his father, smiling at him one last time as he shares his last message. Wrapping my arms around Naruto, we stand still.

Letting him go, I summon a small fox messenger fox. In his mouth, hold a pouch with several gems. Infusing my chakra into them, they begin to slow as I share my memories and set them free.

They express how they will return to their homes while Octo Oji-san decided to stay with Killer B and Oto-san Naru-chan. With Naru-chan and I becoming the gathering place for my family, we at them.

The 6-Paths asks for Naru-chan's and Sasuke's answer. With Naruto's answer being the same, Sasuke claims that he's going to kill the 5-Kage. Shocked by his answer Naru-chan glares at him. "And you tailed beast! I'm putting you all under my control, and eventually, I'm getting rid of you as well. That includes you too, Hasu."

Oto-san and I glare at him, sharing the same words, "What did you just say!?"

Before we could attack, I feel myself fall into a bitter cave of darkness as my actions freeze.

NO POV

The Tailed Beast and Hasu are surrounded by thick rock, confined and trapped. Hasu whispers softly, "Naruto?"

Then the fight between brothers began and started at the same place they fought and separated all those years ago. Once the two are gone, the sage looks up at the meteors floating above them. In the center lies Hasu's trapped formed.

He holds out his hand, "My dear daughter, I wish to never see you subjected by your brother's actions."

Placing his hand on the rock, it breaks apart as the brown-skinned girl falls, her eyes mirroring the Rinnegan. The mark on her head was gone but placing his hand on her head; her eyes change back to normal. His own form faded at the power he used, knowing his time was ending for good. Fast asleep, the battle between the two continues as it comes to an end as both share they're finally move.

Feeling their power, Hasu jolts awake, weak she stands seeing the dark sky. Seeing Sakura lying figure, Hasu bends down, "Get up; it's over."

Opening her eyes, she shoots up only to slow down from her own pain. Walking with me, the sun rises once more; we lean on each other, making our way to them with Kakashi not far behind. Finally, strong enough, we stand on our two feet seeing what they left behind.

She speaks up, "I'm sorry."

Hasu POV

I continue to look forward, understanding the meaning behind her words. I chuckle, "It's ok."

Finding them as the sky turns blue, we begin to heal them. With the help of our chakra, I listen to her conversation with Sasuke as he apologizes causing Sakura to cry.

I smile, understanding that the chase, the pain is finally over. The boys sit up as we laugh and smile together, I bonk Sasuke on the head for what he did to my family, and to my surprise, he apologized to me as well.

Smiling at the warmth in the air, the two work together, performing their last jutsu as the tree that spread throughout the world finally fell and died. Looking up at the sky, I smile at the new beginning.

The War has come to an end.
