Chapter 3 - See You Around

Hasu POV

Sitting next to the sluggish boy I notice a ball of sunshine stride into the classroom.

"What are you doing here Naruto! Only those who PASS can be here!"

I glare at the boy releasing a small amount of killing instinct, I already feel my hair rise and an evil aura surround me. This makes the boy and his dog whimper in fear, "Shut up!"

I quickly calm down, giving Naruto a proud smile.

"I knew you would pass, one step closer to becoming Hokage!"

His eyes sparkle, "Believe it!"

Suddenly feeling a wave of sleepiness I doze off, only to be wake up to a yelling Sensei.

He begins to announce the teams, "Team 7 is Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, and Hasu. Your Sensei will be Kakashi Hatake."

I can't help but giggle at the reactions of my future teammate's reaction to the list. Once Sensei was done he announces that they will come when lunch is over. With that, he left and everyone dispersed. I was about to ask Naruto if he wanted to each lunch with me since Pinky and Emo are gone but he disappeared as well before I could ask. This made me the only person in the room, I shrug my shoulders, making my way to the roof to eat my lunch.

Once I get up there I sit in a comfortable spot. Taking out my scroll containing my lunch it appears before me. Munching on my Melonpan, enjoying the sweet treat. Once done I open the top of my small cup and take a sip of the warm tea.

I sigh, enjoying the peaceful moment. Once I was done I sealed my cup and container. Leaning on a metal box I look up at the clouds. Enjoying my peace it quickly ends as a silver-headed man appears.

We look at each other for a moment, he pulls his hand up a bit.

"Yo."

I give him a small nod, "Sup"

Walking closer to him, I sit in front of him as he continues to read while I look at the clouds.

Sometime later the door opens, revealing my 3 tired teammates. Naruto sighs with relief, "There you are!"

I give him a lazy smile, "Here I am~"

I sit next to naruto on the end, after a bullshit introduction from Kakashi-sensei the real ones start.

"You go first", he says pointing to Naruto.

"Believe it, I'm Naruto Uzumaki, I like instant Ramen in a cup and I really like the Ramen Iruka Sensei got me at the Ichiraku Ramen Noodle Shop. But I hate the 3 minutes you have to wait when you pour the water in the ramen cup. My hobby is eating different kinds of ramen and comparing them. And my future dream is to be the greatest Hokage! Then the whole village will stop disrespecting me and start treating me like I'm somebody, somebody important!"

"Pinky?"

"My name is Sakura Haruno! What I like.. Uh...I mean the person I like is..."

She looks at Emo making me roll my eyes but she continues, "Uh..my hobby is...uh..."

She continues to look at him giggling, "My dream for the future...."

Then she squeals like a pig making me cringe, Kakashi-sensei gives her a board expression. "And? What do you hate?"

"NARUTO!"

I glare at her a bit but sigh at Naruto's reaction.

"Next, Emo"

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha, I hate a lot of things...and I don't particularly like anything...what I have is not a dream because I will make it a reality. I'm going to restore my clan and destroy a certain someone."

I can literally feel the burning anger coming off of him, his new nickname is crabby.

"And finally, Ms. Chill."

Appreciating the nickname as I give my introduction, "My name is Hasu. I like sleeping, watching clouds, and foxes. I hate fangirls, jackasses, and bullies. My hobbies are cloud watching, training, napping, and reading. Finally, my dream for the future is to find the one who saved me."

This lightened up the mood from crabby's declaration.

"Ok, now that's over. Meet me at the training ground 7 at 6 tomorrow morning for your final test." After effortless complaining from Sakura, we've come to find out that this is to eliminate the ones' who won't make it.

"And don't eat any breakfast, don't want you to throw up~"

'Well that makes no sense, must be a trick.'

Before they could leave I grabbed their attention, "Hey you guys, make sure you eat breakfast tomorrow morning. I think he's trying to trick us."

Sakura starts to frown, "We need to listen to Sensei so we won't get in trouble."

"Hn"

With that the 2 left but before Naruto could follow I grabbed his wrist making him look at me. "If they won't listen then can you?"

He looks hesitant, "Think about it, if we don't eat then we won't have much energy to do the test. Plus it takes a little bit more than that to throw up, especially if the breakfast is light."

Naruto thinks for a moment then gives me a bright smile, "I gotcha Hasu! I'll make sure to eat!"

I smile, 'One's better than nothing at all, what a pain.'

"Thank you for trusting me."

"Of course."

With that, we go separate ways.

I walk around the village only to end up on a tall hill, I feel drawn to a calm presence near. Walking over to it, I see Shikamaru looking at the clouds above. Lying across from him we stare at the sky in unison.

Some time goes by and he speaks up, "That looks like a tiger, doesn't it?"

Following his finger I notice the cloud, and smile.

"It kinda does, but the tails a bit longer."

The comfortable silence continues, then an idea pops in my brain. Sitting up I look at him, seeing his eyes close I poke his cheek lightly.

He does nothing, so I continue. After a while, he opens his eyes and releases a long sigh.

"What a drag."

I giggle at his reaction, noticing the light blush appearing on his cheeks.

The sun starts to set, "It's getting late, I better head home."

He sits up slowly, rubbing his neck before looking over at me.

"Can I walk you home."

Feeling a bit flustered, I nod.

"Sure."

He gets up holding out a hand for me, I gladly take it and I rise from the ground. Letting go, we walk side by side through the village as the sun goes down. A comfortable silence takes us to a calm and warm place as we finally make it to my apartment building. Walking up the steps with me we walk to my door.

Unlocking it, I turn to give him a warm smile.

"Thank's Shika, see you around~"

I notice the blush once again before I close the door and continue on with my soothing night.
