Chapter 10 - Not So Troublesome

First Stage

The first stage of the exams begins, the goal is to use stealth to obtain the information, gaining power of knowledge through others papers without being detected. Only a few including Hasu knew this, but instead of taking the test, she decided to use her chakra for something more useful. Sleep.

Giving simple signs under the table she made it look as though she was writing but in reality, she had her head on the table. This resulted in her sleeping for the rest of the testing time, only waking up when the scarred man named Ibiki announces the end of the testing stage.

"Put your pencils down." Dispersing her Jutsu she stretches, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. After some little scuffle about not giving up, after many kids leaving due to nervousness, the 10th question is revealed to be will of perseverance.

Something Naruto didn't have to fret about.

Second Stage

The second stage begins after the only snake smelling women burst through the window, Anko. This lead to a couple of guys drooling and Hasu yawning. While the students follow her out towards the Forest of Death she gives them a bit of a scare.

Hasu grows excited about the deadly forest, eagerly signing the waiver without a care. Waiting for everyone else to finish she walks towards Shikamaru. Leaning against his back she looks up at the clouds.

He gladly allows her to do so, while his teammates stare at them in bewilderment. After everyone finishes their given scrolls, Hasu retrieves a heaven scroll. While Shikamaru's team walks ahead, the Nara surprised the brown girl with a kiss on the cheek. Surprised she touches her cheek while the smiling at the Nara fading from her sight.

This makes Hasu smile, running ahead of the other teams to get a head start. After some time she finds a group of Takigakure. Sneaking up on them she knocks them out with ease. Raiding them she finds what she needs.

Rushing towards the exit, a strong smell of snake attacks her nose. It wasn't as faint as Anko's which means only one thing. Making a shadow clone, she orders it to go the Hokage's Office and turn in the scrolls before running towards the smell.

Not making it in time she sees a long-necked man bite Sasuke, seeing him try to slip away she summons a tracking fox.

"Yes, Lady Hasu?"

"Yuri, I need you to track and follow that man! It's urgent!"

The small yellow two-tailed fox nods before running after the man, jumping down both Naruto and Sasuke collapses leaving a scared Sakura. Jumping in front of her she asks, "Did you guys get your scroll?"

She shakes her head, Hasu frowns, "Then your not done yet."

She focuses her attention on the two boys, bringing out her first aid kit. Treating the two, she tests out a bit of her medical Jutsu. Finding a book on it, and ready about the basics some days ago. Their wounds close and chakra levels even, there breath grows steady.

Standing up she looks at the shaken up girl, "Sakura, you're smarter than you look and you have the power to defend yourself. You have to pick up there slack for a bit and protect them. They'll wake up soon. Don't forget you're a ninja, not a damsel in distress."

With that, she jumps off making her way to the exit. Iruka-sensei stands, waiting for her. Seeing her come into view he smiles at her, "Well done Hasu! You broke the record by getting to the tower in only 60 minutes."

Giving him a small thanks, he continues, "Also the Hokage is waiting for you in his office."

Nodding she rushes off to his office, arriving she knocks on the door respectfully. "Enter"
