4. Fixed my marriage when I was born? seriously?

Zoya pov

It's been seven days since I came to stay with priya. Did ma forget she has this only daughter of hers? Dram. Isn't it? Yeah.

My phone rang displaying *mom* I smiled and answered the call "Hello" "Zoya... Come. Home. Now." She hung up. Like that? Is she serious? She didn't even wait for my response. What if I was in a situation where I can't go?

I sighed and packed my bag. Ready to face the reality. "Bye Priya" I said and walked down to the parking  got in my car and was about to start when someone knocked on the window. I slid down the mirror to reveal that guy who ordered that dress and the one who saved me.

"Hey" I said for which he asked,"you remember me?" What? Does he think I've got short time memory problem or something? "What? Obviously yes" I said for which he laughed and said,"it was just a joke" seriously? Did it seem like one? No is my answer. I just gave a fake smile and asked what brought him here.

"Would you like to join me for a coffee?" He asked and I asked raising and eyebrow,"what do you think I'd say?" He just shrugged saying,"I came here to meet a friend if mine and while walking by I saw you getting in the car. So... I just asked you  but, friendly.nothing more."he said and I smiked

Anyway I'm not yearning to see him. So I agreed for the coffee."I'll have to leave in around an hour. You know mom's call" I said him and he nodded.

We were in a coffee shop near the apartment where Priya lives. "So.... tell me about you. I didn't even say my name right? I'm Adhi." He said extending his hand. Didn't he find any other name?

"Ohh and I'm zoya" I said for which he coughed on his coffee. "Why? What happened?" I asked for which he said,"no... nothing" then we talked about random things like favourite car, bike, actor and many things.

"Hello mom" I answered mom's call. "Where are you. Come home soon. It's lunch time already  every one is waiting for you. Come now or else dont come. "She said and I said I'll be there in few minutes.

I looked up at him and said,"gotta go. Let's meet some other time" he smiled and said,"even I have to go. Bye take care." I waved bye and started my car.

As I was travelling a little far I saw his car still behind mine. Is he following me? No it can't be. He looked good. I mean in a good way..  I can say, he looked as if he had very good character. But is it wrong how I judged him?

Just when I turned my car to the street where our house was, I saw his car turn into the next street. He's good...  I guess.
I parked my car outside the house and walked inside to find my whole family waiting for me. "Hello everyone" i said and heard,"hi di" only from the triples.

"Sit down please" shanaya said and I took seat next to shivani aunty. "What's going on?" I whispered to shivani aunty. "Look here zoya" I heard mom."mom.... don't tall to me as if your ready to scold me anytime soon. I'm home na" I whined like a kid. Obviously I'm a kid at home.

"Zoya... listen to what your mom is trying to say" said Anjana aunty. Now, what? I'll have to obey. She's my sweetheart. I always listen to her and that's why mom ask her to say something to me when I wont listen to them.

"Yes mom" I said giving a serious expression. "Its time for you to get married. We arranged your marriage when you were born itself  but, we won't force you." Mom said and my state was like...  shocked is an understatement. I was almost... umm.... what? Yeah. I almost got a mini attack. Yeah I did. Trust me.

"But..." mom cut me off,"don't say your in love with someone." What does she think of me? "Ma... stop. I know you have trust issues on me and you can ask dad that I even share ny crush with him. And that was just when I was 18 and the second crush I had is a recent customer of mine. I promise, I never loved someone except you all." I said and I could feel tears well up in my eyes.

"Mom. I dont want to get married so soon. I want to achieve something." I said tears rolling down my eyes now. I took a deep breathe and wiped away the tear drops. "Zoya, listen to me first. It's not that you cant achieve high when your married. I can assure he will support you all through your journey of success" now it was anjana aunty.

I sighed. An idea clicked in my mind. Why dont I meet him and tell him few things that would make him reject me? Yes. "But before that, I want to meet your so called selected son in law. Sorry sorry your baby time son in law whom you planned to get me married when I was just a new born. Seriously?" I stormed out of the house and got in the car.

I got a call from natasha. "Hello" I said and heard her say,"ma'am that order... I mean that order for a long gown. You remember?" She asked and I said yes. She asked me to come to office as we have to deliver it to him. I rode to office and it was almost 5 when u5 finished other works and this guy adhi was here.

"Hello, zoya" he said and I smiled with a hi. He then was showed the dress dressed to a mannequin. He then asked,"zoya, if you dont mind... will you wear it and show me?please." I agreed and wore it.

He looked at me in a way that made me self conscious and his look was.... too deep. "So? You like it?" I asked for which he nodded saying,"perfect" I smiled and went into the trial room. I looked at myself in the mirror and planned to make a dress like this for me for a coming function. Why not Ritik bhai's wedding? Yes.

"Ok thank you for the dress" he said . He was a nice to talk guy. He asked whether we can be friends even. I agreed soon. Usually I never make friends so soon. It takes time but it's different with him.

He said he'll wait for me at the same coffee shop at around 6 and he said he'd love to introduce his friend to me.
After all my works were done, I left the office and to the coffee shop he said. It was near our house so I parked the car at home and left saying I have to meet a friend of mine. Rishi wanted to join me and with no other option, I took him.

I was at the coffee shop within 5 minutes. An evening walk was also refreshing. "Hey adhi" I said and rishi gasped. "What's wrong with you?" I asked for which he looked at adhi and his friend and then me. He shook his head and said,"no di. I thought you saw adhi bhai and I looked for him"

"Dont talk about the devil when finally I am having a good time." I said and walked towards the table where one of his friends and he was seated. "What'd you like to have?" Adhi asked and rishi said,"whatever" and I said,"green tea" then he gave the orders.

He turned to me and asked,"so, your that type who worries about their body shape and beauty" he asked. I shook my head and said,"no. It's not like that . It's just that..." should I tell him.

"Leave it if your uncomfortable." He said and I shook my head. "Nothing so big. When u was around 17 maybe, I was nearly 96kg and this mom's friend's son who is my enemy says I'm a potato. From them u5 started to work and now I'm like this" I said and when the waiter was getting late, I excused myself to the rest room.

Aditya pov

"Dont say that's our zoya" I said for which rishi burst out laughing. "She was talking about you. What's actually going on here bhai?" He asked for which I said all the incident that happened from the day I came. "If she gets to know I didn't tell who you are, I'm dead that's going to happen soon.

Then avinash and rishi were talking while I was remembering those days when I call her a potato. She was so cute then. To be honest, I loved her more when she was ny potato. What? Love? Do I love her?

"Hey your in the world?" Someone waved their hand in front of my eyes. I looked up just to see her. My zoya. "Come lets have our cups of tea,coffee and our ones" she said and started having her green tea while I wa sall the time looking at her.

My phone pinged and it was a message from rishi. I looked at him just to find him smirking. It read,'your drooling bhai' I shrugged and had my coffee.

So.... here. How will zoya react?
