18. Junior Adhi

Aditya pov

"Ajay..... dont do that to Akshi. She's a baby"i heard zoya shout while my son was just touching Akshi. "Hey.... zoya. You cant say that. He's just playing with the baby." I said and Shanaya said,"yeah he is. Zo... dont shout at my baby. Come Ajay let's go to the garden and you can play with Akshi there.

"Why are you being so moody since morning? Ajay is just 2 and your scolding him for just touching Akshi." I asked zoya and she glared at me. "You know what? Akshay wants to play with Ajay but he's here with Akshi." She said.

(Akshay is shanaya's son, one month younger to ajay. Akshi is shanaya's 1 month old daughter.)

"Whatever" I said and walked to her. I hugged her from back and said,"I want my cheery zoya." She turned around and pecked my lip. "I'm sorry. I dont know why I'm being like this these days. I think...." she trailed off.

"You think?" I asked and she touched her belly and I understood. "Yay" I said and twirled her around.

Zoya pov
It's our 5th anniversary today. Our Ajay is going to have a baby sister or brother soon. I still remember that day when I got to know I was pregnant. I couldnt believe what adhi and the doctor said. I was very happy and I used to cry the first few days and thank god.

I dont go for work these two years and nisha, she's the one took care of my firm. She's the one who helped me out in work basis. Eventhough, shes adhi's best friend, she's become one of mine too.

When it comes to Nisha, Sid proposed her a year ago and she hit him and said things that really could've hurt him. But the main thing is when side was looking down, she bounced on him and kissed the hell out of him. I felt like, euww when they were sucking each others faces in front of our friends.

We left them there and today I got a call
From Nisha saying me and adhi have to tall to her mother. Shes a single parent and the way she had worked hard without a shoulder by her side is salutable.

She had worked hard and now shes the general manager at a firm in US.

"Zoya... if your done with your 'talking to yourself time" then please come down. Everyone is waiting there. And this party thing is irritating me." He said and sat on the bed. "Why?" I asked. "I wanted for us to go on our honeymoon that we postponed due to work pressure."

Is he serious? God... I dont know how to handle him. "What about Ajay? And you must know it's not safe to travel in this stage" I said and he frowned. "Its been 5 years of marriage and your acting like a newly wed." I said and folded my arms to my chest.

"Whatever" be said and I turned to the dresser to wear the necklace adhi gifted me for our last anniversary
It was a diamond necklace. It had letter of A and Z carved in it with diamonds.

I loved that the second I saw it. Sometime, shanaya says that I act as if I have none when I always wear that for occasions.

I felt adhi's presence behind me and turned around to find him looking at me already. "What?" I asked and he said,"your looking.... gorgeous. And I dont know how I'm going to keep my hands away from you this whole evening" I smiled and gave him a peck.

"Let's see" I said and he held be my waist and his hands roamed near my belly through my saree and I gasped when I felt him bite near my shoulder. "Adhi..." i wanted to scold him but, him sucking on the stinging area made it to be a moan.

"We'll be late..." I said and he again joint our lips in a passionate kiss. "Promise me to continue after the party." He said and I glared at him. Why? Because he took his hands off. Everytime he touch me, it feels new. And I only want that feeling from him.

"Fine"i said and he grinned wide extending his hand for me to hold. We walked down the stairs to find our whole big family. Shanaya and Rishaan with Akshi and Akshay. Mom and dad. Adhi's mom and dad. Shivani aunty and  Kiran uncle. Smruthi and swetha with their husbands. But, Rishi all alone. A gloomy look always present.

My eyes tear up remembering what happened last year. Rishi was about to get married to the love of his life, Thara. On the day of their wedding, she slipped from the stairs on the way to the stage. She hit her head and on the spot, she left us.

She was such a sweet soul. She was like a sister I never had. All in our family loved her so much that we still feel love for her. And when it was a year she died, we were all not in a good mood. All were in their own world.

I really feel bad for rishi and I do miss the Rishi he used to be. Hes no more fun, cheery, playful. He's all serious whatever the matter is. He took over his dad's firm after 4 months of Thara's death. We were not sure how hell handle but, he proved us wrong. He worked hard and he has a project to fo out of country for two years or more.

We stood there in front of the cake, that looked like 100 people can have it. Yes, we planned to send the pieces to the orphanage we adopted two years ago. After Ajay's 1 month birthday.

"So.... here is a gift from me"i heard adhi while everyone were gifting us. "What?" I turned to him shocked because he said he dont have a gift this time but he planned for a trip. "This is for you, my love" he said and gave a frame.

I opened it and my eyes tear up seeing our family photo we took on rishi's engagement. I saw thara laughing in the pic. Rishi was saying something to her. I sat on the chair nearby and adhi took the frame from me."ohh shit" he said and asked avinash,"I asked you to frame the other pic"

"Sorry, bro" avinaash said and I said to adhi,"I want this hanged in our new house. " he looked at me shocked.

"No..." I cut him off. "This is ny family and nobody can replace them. And by the way this is the best gift." I said a bit rude and I understood that my moodswings are starting.

"Well... we have something to say" adhu said and my mood soon changed. "Zoya will say" he continued  "no no you say"i said and he said,"Ajay is going to become an elder brother "all congratulated us and I remembered how both our Dadi wished us last year  they both said to adhi,"welcome, baba you survived with this chudail for four years" I still remember.

They both are no more. I sighed and smiled knowing o have a big family who will be there whenever I need them.

"Sid.... whens your wedding?" Dad asked and he flushed. "Soon" he said and all laughed at hiw shy he was. Is he the pkayboy who adhi introduced to me as? Love changes people.

**10 months later

Aditya pov

"Adhi... you should keep your eyes open. Your daughter is really someone like you. She doesn't want me to rest. K cant be awake alone, you. Must. Stay. Awake" she said in a firm tone. "Ok fine" I said and sat up.

My princess adhya was crying since and hour and zoya was taunting me. "Come and try to stop her cry" she said and I walked over to the other side of the bed and carried her. "Your princess" she rolled her yes when adhya stopped crying when I carried her.

Daddies girl she is. Adhya was soon asleep and I walked out to the balcony feeling overwhelmed. I felt her presence behind me but I didnt turn. She came and stood by my side. I held her close to my heart. "Adhi...." i heard her and i hummed in response.

"You remember the beach house we went before our marriage?" When i nodded she continued,"you asked me CAN OUR FUTURE BE INFINITE? and i still didnt reply. The answer is. Not all get the chance to live with their love their while life. Some may leave ome alone but their love is infinite. I can promise our love is infinite and I wish we live as long as we can be together. I love you" she said and I looked at her who was looking up at the sky.

"I think thara is one of those starts wishing us all good." She said and I nodded. "We must get rishi married when he's back from work." She said and I agreed. He need ms someone in his life so that he may change to his old self.
