8. Proposal

Zoya pov

After freshening ups, I walked out the room in a lemon yellow sun dress. After few minutes of watching a korean drama,'playful kiss' I felt a presence in my back. I turned around to find adhi. "Hey" he said and I mumbled a "hi".

He sat next to me, our shoulders brushing making me feel sparks. I slightly moved aside just for him to move too. What's with him? I remembered the question I wanted to ask him since I woke up.

"Adhi... why were you on my bed today morning and that too half naked and hugging me?" I asked and he smirked before saying,"well... it was you who knocked on my door yesterday and asked me to sleep with you. Not only that, you tried taking advantage on me. Thanks to my self control." He said and I frowned and then glared

Did u even drink or am I a dreamer to do that,"shut up and say the truth" I said in a bored tone. "Ok fine. Dont keep your face like that. I came out if my room to have some water and found you asleep. When I was about to cover you with a blanket, I felt your heat. I mean you had a high fever yesterday night." Alk the way I was looking at him and I thought, he cares. Great.

"And then I called the doctor, moved you to the room and the doctor asked to keep you warm and that's why you were in my embrace. Plus, you took away my first kiss in your sleepy romantic state.  Why did you do that? K know you were unconscious and was not in the right state. But, that was my first..." I cut him off

"What? You mean first kiss with me or... first kiss in your life? Dont say the second." But my heart said, please say the second. But why? I'm not possessive nor going to be jealous over some girls.

"Well... why does it matter to you. Ok fine. I have a small work outside. I'll be back for dinner. And..  we'll be leaving tomorrow evening. Yes. Don't forget that your not allowed in the beach." He went with that.

Why didn't he answer to my question? Yeah. Why does it matter to me? Hmmm.... think of an excuse zo. Oh yeah. Because he's going to be my husband.

Aditya pov

I was really worried for her last night  she did have fever but, the kiss was just to tease her. But the fact she wanted to know about she being my first kiss or the first kiss with her made me happy.

I have something up in my mind and I don't think it will be a bad beginning. I'm going to do what I wanted to since.... I knew I was in love with this girl. The love of my life.

"All done?" I asked the few workers who delivered the things I needed. They even asked me whether they have to arrange also. But I said no. I want to do it all by myself.

"Ok sir. Everything is kept at place as you said" a guy said and left.

Zoya pov

This guy... I had been waiting for him since long and he said hes already here.

I was looking for adhi the last two hours. Finally, I planned to have my lunch all alone. Maybe I didn't look for him in the roof top. I walked out the house and looked up and no. He's not there too. But, the sound of waves called me.

But I still remember his words and I ha e to be fit and fine before my family. Did he say about me drowning? And fever? When fever came to my thought, I just involuntarily touched my lips and thought how did it feel. I could feel heat rush through my body.

I had my lunch and tried calling adhi. While u was strolling through my Instagram, I got a WhatsApp message from adhi. I soon clicked on the notification and I saw an image with a sentence 'come to the pool side' and another pic came saying,'go check your bed first'

I walked In  my room and found a red color cloth wrapped a box like something  I untied the cloth and there was a box. Inside was a beautiful black maxi with a slit near my right thigh. It shows ny leg from mid thigh and it was a compliment to my long legs.

I wore the stiletto that was in the box and walked out.

I thought whether it's a prank. Because he does it mostly all the time we were teens.

I walked out and to the pool side. It was around 5 by then. The light was yellowish and the climate was also so good. I looked into the pool and gasped. It was filled with red rose petals.

In the middle was a pink gold wrapped box. It looked like a cube. As I walked closer to the pool, I saw a thread that was actually a ribbon. I pulled it and the box floated near where I was.

I took the box in my hand, when i was about to stand back,I heard,"zoya.." an the sudden sound made me flinch and I tripped on my heels.  I was sure I'll be in water withing seconds but a strong grip by my waist stopped me.

I opened ny eyes and met those brown orbs. Adhi was holding me by my waist and his eyes were looking into mine as if he was looking through my soul. The deeper he looked, the more I sunk into his eyes. What's happening to me? "Adhi.." I said and he made me stand straight.

Within my mind process what he was standing, he was on his knees before me."adh..." he cut me off.

"Please... dont talk" he said and started,"when I look into your eyes,I can see the reflection of two of us and the life I hope we share together. I can't imagine growing old with someone else, nor do I want to. Mujhe pata hai ki is saajha karane ke lie mere bina aapaka jeevan kabhee poora nahin hoga (I know my life will never be complete without you beside me to share it)

When I look into my heart, it's only you. If you can see through your heart and that is me only you see, then we should spend the rest of our lives together. I promise no one will work harder to make you happy or cherish you more than me. Oh yes,fight with you and tease you more than me too." He laughed so manly and continued,

"When I met you that day, I mean not as the designer. My zoya. I knew I'd found my match who was always a little far but, was the most closest person to heart.it was only a matter of time until we arrived at this moment.howbit turns out is all in your hands" he completed. Or did I think so. He stopped me from speaking when I was about to.

"There's some more, I know your the only one I want to share the rest of my life with. The story of our love is just beginning. Let's write our own happy ending. There are many ways to be happy in this life, but all I need is you. Will you be my girlfriend for the rest of my life?I'll ask what I wanted to ask you since I realized my love for you, will you marry me?

Hamaara ateet yadagaar tha, kya hamaara bhaavishy avant ho sakata hai? (Our past was memorable,CAN OUR FUTURE BE INFINITE?" With that he took the box from my hand and opened it revealing a beautiful ring with a small diamond in it.

I forwarded ny hand after saying," I dont know whether I love you or not. But I promise that your going to be the first person to know if I do love you. But.... now.... i can say, i can never get a lover like you. Eventhough, I want to deny this fact.....

Wait for 48 hours. I mean on Friday
