7. Never say that again

Zoya pov

It's been a week since our engagement and last few days, adhivhas been off and I'm having a feel that something is up that hes so much worried about. We were having lunch as a family and me and adhi were made to sit side by side as per our youngsters pestering.

"Can I ask you all something?" Adhi asked and all gave their attention to him. "Umm... can me and zoya go out in a two day holiday? I mean we can get to know each other better and... I'll be busy in business from next week. Also our marriage will be in another 2 month right" all shared looks.

All were silent until dad broke the silence. "Of course son. You can. But where? Have you guys decided?" He asked looking at both of us. I looked at adhi and he said,"maybe to our Beach house?" And I was in cloud nine. Omg to the beach house after 5 whole years.

"Ok son. When are you starting? Anjana aunty asked and he said,"today evening" what the fudge? Doesn't he know I have packing to do? "Relax zoya babhi. I've done your packing today morning itself. I sighed then and went up to get changed.

"Are you ready?" I heard him and my door was opened by him. Don't he have manners? I soon turned around and said, "please learn to knock before entering" I said and he took steps towards me.

"Hello mr. I'm talking to you" I said and he was close to me by now. He tugged the strand of hair which I let it fall on my face behind my ear and brought his hand behind my neck. He helped me with the zip and took two steps back.

"Thanks" I said more like a whisper. It was around 5 minutes later, I went down to see ny whole family waiting with 'sending off a honey moon couple' like gestures. Seriously?

I was in no mood to argue and the reason is just that I'm going to be at the beach house. B.E.A.C.H house. Oh my god I cant wait to go stand in the sea shore. I can collect shells and I can stay there for long as I want by the beach side that my family is not around. Yay.

Within few hours we were at the beach house. The ride was always silent. He disnt even talk a word. We went on and I picked the master bedroom. He disnt even argue because? That I know he knows he can never win an argument with the great zoya. *winks*

I changed into my shorts and crop top before walking to the beach side. It nice to have the beach all to yourself. I'm sure adhi is sleeping. So, I'm free to have ny time here. I slowly walked towards the shore and I felt my body shiver when the cold water hit my feet. It was already evening.

The wind that come along with the waves... that salty smell and i dis feel the saltiness in the wind too. It feels like the waves are pulling me inside. It's as if I'm seeing a number if water waves after a long time and theyre coming to hug me. Seriously zo? Didn't you find any other examples?said my conscience. I just tsked and went more into the water.

Aditya POV

I tried to rest for a while but the fact it is not my bed, didn't help me to do so. I walked out of the room and into the kitchen looking for some snacks. I saw two potato chip packets and thought if watching a movie with zoya. I walked to where the master bedroom was.

Dont know what she has with master bedrooms. Even when we went out for a holiday during our teens, she didn't give up that room to any elders. She was adamant to stay and all gave up saying she's crazy. That she is.

"Zoya..." I said while knocking on her door. "Zoya... you there?" I shouted again and turned the knob to find the door open. And... she was not in vicinity but I knew where she was since the back door facing the beach was open.

Shes still a child. In this climate, she wants to go in the beach and what? Catch cold? Shes really something and I love that something about her. I smiled to myself and walked out of the room and to the beach. I saw a figure struggling in the water and without a guessment i6 was sure that's zoya. I removed ny tshirt while running and jumped into the water.

"Zoya..." I shouted when the figure I saw over there was not there. Suddenly I felt some touch near my leg and I dived in to find zoya in a state I never want to experience again.

I brought her out of water and tried waking her up. "Zoya.." I said patting her cheeks. Then I remembered that once when I was on a trip with sid, he did few first aid when a small boy was saved from water. First, I pressed her stomach well and few water came out and then she still dint wake.

I then kept my mouth on hers and tried to get out the water and within a second she started to cough and then there, my zoya opened her eyes. I pulled her in a tight hug and peppered kisses all over her face and without me knowing I was crying. She wiped away the tears and said,"it's not that I died and you dont have to cry you know" she said and I pulled back and stood up facing the beach and my back was facing her.

"How did you know I was here. You must be sleeping by now" after a few seconds u heard her say,"thanks..." I said"Leave before I lose my temper" and I felt her touch on my back. "Adhi..." I turned around and held her by her shoulder. I know its tight. She hissed. "What?"

Zoya pov

His eyes were bloodshot red, maybe effects of salt water. "Your wet... let's go in" he said after taking a deep breathe.
And throughout the day till night, he never spoke to me. Is he angry on something.

I dont feel better since evening. I think I've got a fever. I saw a paracetamol card in ny bag but, will zoya take it without someone's advice?no.

I went to the living and turned on the TV after adhi went in his room. Eventhough there was a TV in my room, why did I come here? Zoya... what's with you? Maybe she wanted to have a glimpse of her fiance. Who's that so called fiance? Ohh yeah adhi right?

"Stop" I shouted and my brain stopped arguing with myself. I sighed and turned on a music channel, I'm in love with telugu songs these days. And mostly I watch telugu and Tamil movies rather than hindi. I love those concepts they have.

A recent trending song was playing and I moved my hands and shook my legs to the beat. I suddenly felt dizzy and fall on... maybe the couch I was seated on.

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the sound of waves. I again wanted to go to the beach. I opened my eyes to find the room dark. When did I reach the room. I was in the couch and I fainted.

I looked around to find the curtains closed and something was stopping me from moving. I looked to my side to find adhi? How did he come here. I soon saw him shirtless and panic striked through me.

I slowly removed his hand that was on me and noticed my leg that was on his body. What the fudge zoya?

"Adhi... wake up" I slowly hit him when he didn't even moved. "What?"he shouted in a groggy voice. "Leave me na adhi" I said and tried to move but within a second, he was on top of me.

"First promise me something"he said and I thought why'd he ask for a promise from me. That too now? Is he going to ask for a kiss or something? No it cant be.

"What?" I asked and his eyes turned red again. "Never ever say that" he said and when he saw my confused state he said,"that you said at the beach. You cant die without me and remember never talk of dieng. Understood?"his eyes softened once and then again to anger. He has these moodswings like pregnant ladies?

When I said nothing, he said,"answer me zoya" it was softer than the tone he ever used. When I nodded, he kissed my forehead and stood up. And I remembered,"hey adhi. Wait" I said and he turned around. He had a perfect body to be frank.  His arms and.... omg. He's an example for a hot and sexy guy.

"Done checking me out?" He asked and what? He caught me staring at him. Shit  . This is the most embarrassing situation I've ever been in.
