13. Getting used to 'us'

Zoya pov

He caressed my cheek and leaned forward and here comes another intervention. We heard someone fake cough and pulled back and the person who saw us like this, this time is.... Sid.

"I need some water, please take this to your room" he said to adhi and smirked at me. "Copycat." I muttered and adhi asked,"what?" Then I acted as if I was going to say what I saw but, sid intervened,"its just.... nothing" he said and left the kitchen not even drinking water.

"I think... the kiss has to wait" I said and adhi scowled. I giggled at his face reaction and walked out of the kitchen. "Zo..." I heard adhi behind. "Nooo" I said and he then said, "this is the only thing I ask you for."he said with a pout. K chuckled at him and heard mom,"what did he ask?" I almost spitted my coffee.

"Nothing aunty..." he said and ran out of the living, leaving me dumb. What should I say mom? "What's was that zoya?" Mom asked and I said,"its just that he asked for a cup of coffee and I said I cant"

"You go and give him. Now. Hes going to be your husband and is this the way you treat him?" Mom asked and I went in the kitchen and made coffe for him with some extra sugar as he likes.

I knocked on his door and he said,"the door is open" I opened the door and walked in to find him lying on his stomach on the bed.

"What?" He asked and I said jn a mood to tease him a little,"mom asked to give what you asked for. So here." I said and kept the tea cup on the bedside table and sat on his bed. I leaned forward and when I was nearing his lips, dont know what took over me. I wanted to kiss him and that's what i did.

The first few seconds, i just placed ny lip on his and after a while he kissed me and i kissed him back. He pulled me and i was on top of him now. I took his hair in a fiat and pulled him more closer. He bit my lip and i could taste blood. Nerve of this idiot.

His hand was around my waist and when we pulled back, he switched place making me lie under him. ,"your heavy idiot"i said and he smirked saying,"you'll have to get used to having me on top of you" i looked down and his fine muscles were visible under his tshirt.

"Like what you see" he smirked and I smacked his arm playfully. "Maybe" I said not wanting to deny the fact. "But... I'm the sole owner of this" I said and bit my lips when he said,"and your mine" as he finished the sentence, his lip was on mine. It didn't take any long for me to reciprocate.

"I love you" he said and I may have left the same three words but, when he placed his lips in my neck and started peppering kisses, I forgot the world. He was making me feel new things and I'm loving these.

He suddenly pulled back and said,"I dont want to continue as I have plans in my mind" and smirked while I looked at him dumbfound. "Shut up you besharam" i said and sat up. I tied my hair in a messy bun and walked out.

I've planned to say i too love him on our wedding night. Suddenly my head felt heavy and i was about to faint but i held to the wall and walked in my room. I lied on the bed and thought, i have been having this fainting feels and feeling sick during my periods.

I have to take a checkup as priya said. I for ready into a leggings and top before taking my car key and drive to priya's. "Hello priya, are you free? I have to go out and I'm here down in front of your building" she then said she was to come to my house. We both started to the hospital.

I dont know why, but I felt nervous and a bad feeling engulfed me. The more closer we went to the hospital, the more scared I was. Priya said,"hey zo, theres nothing serious. It maybe just some minor prob" I gave a forced smile before getting out of the car.

"I need an appointment with doctor priyanka. I hope I can get it now?" I asked hoping for her to say some positive answer.

"Well, yes you can be the last one for today since someone else cancelled their appointment" I sighed and thanked her before priya was by my side. "Did you get an appointment?" She asked and I nodded still feeling nervous.

"come, let's go" she said and I nodded and followed her. She held my hand on the way and gave a comforting squeeze that said she was by my side. I sat their on the waiting chair thinking what I could have. Every passing minute, I got thoughts like, could it be tumors? Cancer? Or anything serious. There were many could it be's running in my mind when the nurse called out my name.

"Ms. Zoya?" The doctor said and I nodded. "Yes" she said and I know I had to say what kind of symptoms I have. "I feel dizzy at times and mostly when I have my periods. Sometime, I feel like puking and I do have problems with my cycle" I said and she nodded writing down on her notepad.

She then looked up at me and said,"I can say anything after these tests. You can give them today and it'll be better if you could come tomorrow for the result" I nodded while priya asked the question that I had in my mind.

"Is it anything serious?" She asked and the doctor gave a comforting smile saying,"I hope so. But, the final fact can be from the tests" we said our thanks and walked out the room. And, as soon as we stepped out, the tears I had been hiding, fall out. I dont know why I cried.

I just felt overwhelmed knowing I can be sick. There is a chance i can be. We gave the test and went home after priya consoled me saying few things i dont even remember. "Ok then, bye" she said dropping me home. She drove the car from the hospital. And, now she left in a taxi not listening to my words which said her to take my car.

I walked kn the house and to my room. When I was about to enter my room I heard,"zoya? Where were you?" It was almost 10 at night. I couldn't inform anyone and I hope priya said Shanaya to say something.

"Uhmm... I went to meet priya" I said and adhi looked at me up and down before hurrying to me. "What happened?" He asked directing towards my hand where it had a sponge which the nurse kept to stop the bleeding after she took sample for the blood test.

"Nothing" I said throwing the sponge to the nearest bin. "Zo..." I cut him off. "Leave me alone, adhi" I shouted at stormed inside my room. I'm sure adhi is not happy with what I did now.

I couldn't sleep the whole night and dont know after how many turns I slept. I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I soon woke up knowing I had an appointment in the morning itself. I cant risk anything.

"Hello, priya dis you get any call regarding the report?" I asked as soon as she picked the phone call. "Nah. Dont worry I'll call and check on it" she said and hung up after me saying,"thanks sweety"

I walked out of the room dressed ready for work. I didn't fo for work last two days because... I was... lazy. Perks of being the boss. "Good morning" i heard adhi while i started climbing down the stairs. "Morning" yesterdays memory came to me and i turned to him. His fa e looked tired and he looked like he didn't sleep last night.  "I'm sorry" I said and he hugged me.

"Never hide something that your hurt about. You must remember whatever it is, I'm with you" he said and I hugged him more tight. "I think we have to get them married soon" I heard and we both pulled back to find our whole family looking up at the stairs from the living.

I'm sure they didn't hear us. But, did it look like we're so... desperate? "Ma...." I said and his my face in adhi's chest and his laughter mad whis chest vibrate.

I pulled back and walked down to have our breakfast. I must thank each and everyone of them for them being silent and not teasing us as they always do.
