"You promised." I said, "You promised you won't hurt yourself Flo."

"I did."

I then turned to her, "Then why are you still going there to hurt yourself?"

"I'm still going there. It's just that-"

"You're not sure if you'll still do it. So there's still a chance you'll do it."

"Mike-"

"You know what your problem is Flo? You always try to isolate yourself from others. You always think everyone hates your existence and just want you gone. You always say you don't deserve anything good. That's why you hurt yourself for it. But Flo, no one hates your existence. Me, I fucking love that you existed. I'm glad I met you. And you know what, you deserve the goddamn world. I don't even think I can give you that but here I am, trying to give at least everything I can give for now, for you."

"You think it's easy to fulfill this promise Mike?"

"No. No it's not. But we said baby steps-"

"No. You said baby steps Mike. Not me."

"Flo-"

"Why are you still doing all of this? Why do you care so much? Why do you value me so much? We're nothing but strangers in a museum."

"Because I freaking love you Flo."

"See, this is what triggers me Mikey. You came into my life and I thought that after Misa de Gallo, it's all done and over with. But you loved me. And I loved you. And it's something I can't accept."

"And why not?"

"Because I don't deserve you." She shouted as tears rolled down her cheeks, "You're too kind and sweet and loving and what am I? I'm just nothing but a fucked-up kind of girl. I can't give you things that you'll want Mike. I don't have any of them. In the end, I'm just going to hurt you."

"You're all I want Flo." I said softly.

"No." She shook my head, "Find someone better Mikey. Don't want me. You wanted me too early. I don't want you to regret once you have me."

"Flo, please." I shouted as she ran away, tears welling up my eyes.

I can't lose you Flo.
