I clicked on the strawberry milk option on the vending machine, lifting the flap below, collecting the beverage sent from heaven. Unwrapping the straw out of its plastic and stuffing the plastic in my pocket, I jabbed the straw into the carton, sipping at the divine goodness. I proceeded to head to my destination, U.A. high school, where I would be trying for a place in the hero course. Squeezing the milk carton dry, I threw it behind me into the dustbin, not bothering to look at it, also to add to my coolness factor. Judging by the sound of the carton, it fell into the dustbin.

Why was I being so calculating today? I have no idea. Perhaps it had to do with the lack of sleep, which was evident in my eye bags and my squinted eyes.

My footsteps became louder in my head. I was most definitely nervous. I was not worried about the written paper, but more importantly, the practical. I didn't know whether my powers would be useful today. But I most certainly would not give up. The chances of me getting into U.A. high were quite high, especially with my powers. So it was worth a shot.

Before I knew it, my feet had dragged me to the school. Oh boy. I was trembling in my heart, but a hero never shows their weakness. I couldn't. I had to be strong. This is what my father would have wanted. After all, he always wanted me to bring cheers and smile, so what better way to do that than to be a hero?

I could do this.

The second the gates opened, I knew that I couldn't do this. I was too scared. Although this was the perfect opportunity to use my powers, I felt struck to my bones with fear. Just as fast as the fear came, it ebbed away.

You're doing this for father. You're going to become a hero.

Many people were determined to get in. So how did I stick out of the crowd? I narrowed my eyes at my negative thoughts. I could do this. Everyone sprinted ahead, yelling battle cries, and I was tossed around in the crowd.

I quickly separated from the group down an alleyway, where my first opponent was. A green robot with a glowing red light came at me at full speed. A smirk spread across my face. I visualized myself behind the robot, and I felt my body teleport there in the nick of a second. I opened the hatch behind it and ripped out the insides of it.

I leaped off him, onto the next robot. I continuously teleporting onto the robots and taking them out one by one. I stopped for a while and caught my breath. I think 50 would be enough for now. I looked around me, and in the havoc of the battlefield, I spotted a boy who looked utterly distraught that there were no more robots left. I sighed. I felt bad for him. He appeared to be quirkless, based on the fact that he wasn't using his ability. I looked around trying to find a robot, placed my hand on it, and teleported to the boy. He was shocked by my sudden appearance, but mainly by the death machine that had been placed in front of him. I teleported him onto it's back and opened up the hatch on it's back for him.

"Go ahead. You looked like you needed some help, " I smiled.

"Th-thanks, " he uttered, ripping out its wires.

The robot underneath us stopped moving. I hopped off. Wishing good luck at the confused boy. He had black hair with green highlights, and big green eyes to match him. How did that boy manage to look good with green? Out of all the colors, green?

I swiftly teleported around the arena, trying to find more robots. At this point, I had gotten 90 points. I felt bad for stealing everyone else's points, so I decided to sit back and relax. Just when it was all about to end, the 0 point robot emerged, causing more chaos in the havoc-ridden city.

My eyes widened. I teleported to the battlefield, the find many people running away. I looked around. The boy I had lent a hand to just now was running up to the robot, and a girl with brown hair was stuck under the debris. I ran a hand through my hair and sighed. I was about to stop the boy until I saw power running through his veins.

My eyes widened at the sight. I thought he was quirkless. Oh well. Since the robot was now falling backward, I teleported around to see if anyone was still there instead of running for their lives earlier. Dammit, this kid was too risky. He probably obliterated his arm, and if there were people underneath the robot, they would be dead.

"And... Time is up!" Present Mic shouted through the speakers.

I had to admit. The kid was incredibly heroic. Too bad that he didn't get any robots. Now that I thought about it, it wouldn't really hurt to give him some of my points, right? Especially since I had plenty to spare. I sighed.

I looked back down onto the ground where the boy was sprawled out. I grimaced. He looked to be in a lot of pain. His arm and his legs were limp, covered in one large purple bruise. I groaned. How could I possibly let him die in that state? Alone, knowing that he didn't get enough points to pass.

"Sir, I would like to give some of my points to the boy with black hair and green highlights, about this tall, has freckles... I think he was really brave and deserves to come here, " I pleaded. This kid would be the death of me.

The teacher who I was talking to had black shaggy hair and was dressed scruffily. He had the white cloths wrapped around him like scarves and his eyes were as red as blood.

"Go home. I don't have the power to do so, " he said simply, slamming the staff room door on me. I huffed at his attitude, and I repeatedly banged the staff room door with my fist, yelling at him to open the door.

Eventually, the shabby man came out of the staff room, irritation plastered across his face. He looked as though he wanted to murder me with his bared hands.

"Go home. He passed, " he replied, closing the door with a loud thump.

I heaved a sigh of relief, turning around on my way home. I should have known that the kid would get in for saving that girl. That was pretty ballsy of him, injuring himself in literally every way possible just so that he could save the one girl.

I kind of admired him.
