"Okay, but seriously though, you can't wait until he confesses. So what are you going to do?" Hiroshi asked, while looking through his DVDs.

"I'll just hide my feelings until they go away, " I said simply, as though it was the most obvious thing on earth. Hitoshi froze, slowly turning around to glare at me.

"Excuse ME? Are you telling me that you want to be forever alone? I am not going to watch you grow up and become a crazy cat lady with 293 cats, " He screened. I rolled my eyes at his overdramatic behavior.

"I'm not going to grow up to become a crazy cat lady with 293 cats, " I said. Hitoshi let out a sigh of relief.

"I'm going to have 294 cats, " I grinned. Hitoshi facepalmed.

"You're a lost cause. I don't know what to do with you, " he said, throwing his hands up in surrender. I chuckled.

"Alright, alright. But how should I confess?" I asked. Hitoshi's eye twitched.

"You said you weren't going to, "

"Yeah, but I changed my mind, " I said shrugging.

"You are literally impossible, " he shot.

"But seriously though, I'm not planning on confessing, " I said.

Hitoshi looked like he was about to die at my indecisiveness.

While Sakura and Shinso were bickering about her confessing, Shoto was on the living room couch, pressing his fingertips to his temple in frustration. Ever since he hugged Sakura back, he felt a strong emotion of infatuation towards her. He didn't know what to do now, so he just sat there, dealing with his feelings. Izuku, who had come down to get some tea, noticed Shoto's state, and walked over.

"Hey, a penny for your thoughts?" Izuku asked, placing his freshly brewed tea on the coffee table.

"Its nothing, " Shoto brushed off.

"Hey, " Izuku put his hand on Shoto's shoulder, a small smile on his face.

"We're friends right? You can tell me anything, "

Shoto rested his head in his hands, burying it in them even further. He desperately wanted to tell Izuku, wanting to get off his chest, but he was scared of how Izuku would react. Would he think he was weird? Would he tease him for it? What would he-

"It's about Sakura, isn't it, " Izuku guessed, cutting off his train of thought, reading his mind.

How on earth did Izuku know? Was he a mind reader? No, that wasn't his quirk. He internally panicked. If he knew, did that mean everyone knew? Was it that obvious? His mind was screaming at him, while his physical being remained quiet and unmoving. Izuku stared at the boy. Did he break Shoto? Oh shit, Sakura was going to murder him. He snapped his fingers in front of Shoto's face, but to no response.

"Yep, I broke him, " he muttered under his breath. Sakura was so going to kill him.

Izuku was already planning his funeral. He would invite everyone from 1-A, his mom, All Might, maybe his dad that left him, hell, he might as well invite the League of Villains. God knows that they would be happy that he was dead. While Izuku was planning his funeral, Shoto snapped out of it.

"Was it that obvious?" Shoto asked hopefully.

"Yes. Everyone predicted it, " he responded.

As a matter of fact, the entire class was betting on when the two would get together. If they got together by this month, Izuku, Ochaco, and Yaoyorozu would win the bet. If they got together next month, Jiro, Kaminari, and Hagakure would win the bet. Izuku was trying his best to get both of them together. All they needed, was a little push.

"You like her, don't you? Don't worry, she doesn't know, " Izuku said, egging Shoto on.

"Yeah, but what do I do now? Do I keep it to myself forever?" he asked.

No, he couldn't do that, or else Mineta would win. Izuku's face scrunched up. No way in hell was he going to let Mineta win, and more importantly, let the both of them bury their feelings deep inside them until they died. As much as he hated it, Izuku was going to play matchmaker.

"No, it will kill you if you do. How would you feel if that Hitoshi guy snatches her up before you do?" Izuku asked.

To be honest, Hitoshi admitted that he didn't like Sakura like that, and was also in on the bet. So it was safe to say that he wasn't going to make a move anytime soon. But Shoto was going to need a little something to push him, otherwise they would die before either of them confesses. Meanwhile, Shoto scrunched up his face. He didn't like the idea of Hitoshi and Sakura together. He was jealous. Shoto shook his head. No way was he going to allow Hitoshi and Sakura to get together.

"Well, it's simple then. You have to confess, " Izuku put it simply.

"But-" Shoto protested.

What if she rejected him? What if she didn't like him like that? He would claw his broken heart out of his chest. The pain would be unimaginable. There was no way he was going to confess. But at the same time, if he didn't, the pain would be even worse if she got together with Hitoshi. He sighed.

"But what if she rejects me? How will I know?" Shoto asked.

"You won't. It's a leap of faith. That's all it is, Todoroki-kun, " Izuku said, putting his hand on his shoulder.

He had no clue what she would say when he confessed. He had no idea if she would reject him or not. But if he didn't, it would be even worse. It was like he was in a burning building, and his time was ticking. He had to jump out of the building, or get burned by the flames. There was a 50/50 chance he would survive, but he just had to jump. It was a leap of faith. That's all there was to it. It was so simple, right in front of his face.

It was just a leap of faith.
