"Do not fear, I am here!" All Might shouted at the top of his voice. I sighed in relief. Finally, the hero we needed.
In what seemed like a second, he knocked down all the remaining villains. He got all of us out of the way and instructed us to get Aizawa-Sensei to a safe place. We compiled. I teleported Aizawa-Sensei outside, waiting for the ambulance. He was in terrible condition. I saw it with my own eyes, that monstrous creature pummeling Aizawa-Sensei to the ground. Seeing him in that state, our Sensei, the person who guided us, cared for us, protected us, it made me feel hopeless. It made me feel like we were definitely going to lose, that we would definitely have casualties. And we did. Thirteen and Aizawa-Sensei were not in the best shape. Loud sirens could be heard in the distance, and the pro-heroes had finally arrived. I sighed in relief. It was finally over. All of it, it was over.
From that day, this would be known as the USJ incident.

The next day, we all sat glumly in our seats. However, Tenya was stricter than ever, telling us to get back to our seats. A deafening silence was cast over the classroom. Well, until a mummy walked in, scaring the whole class.
"Aizawa-Sensei, are you sure you're allowed to teach in this state?" Ashido asked in concern. Ah, so it was Aizawa-Sensei.
Well, they say when one battle ends, another battle begins, am I right? Well that was exactly what happened.
"Don't worry about me, worry about yourself. The battle has not ended yet. Your next battle..." he paused, "Is the U.A. Sports Festival, "
Wow. That sure was dramatic. I sighed and laid back in my chair. I have already heard this a thousand times from one of my parents, my mom. Uncharacteristically, our sensei encouraged us to use the oncoming U.A. Sports Festival to get noticed, since the top heroes were watching. Everyone was pumped, myself included. I just hoped that I could have fun, and possibly win. I could even feel Ochaco buzzing with excitement.
However, classes soon started, the initial excitement dying down a bit. I gazed at the clock. It wouldn't hurt to daze off a little, would it? I rested my head on the desk, only to have an eraser fly at my head. I let out a sound of irritation and rubbed the back of my head, my neck twisting around to find the culprit. My eyes locked on a certain peppermint boy, a glint of mischief in his eyes. I've never seen this side of him before.
I scowled at the boy, flicking his eraser back at him, which he caught with ease. I continued to stare at the teacher, pretending to pay attention.
"Yumé, what did I just say?" Present Mic asked, pointing his finger dramatically at me.
"Geoffrey Chaucer is is the father of modern literature, " I droned.
Present Mic went back to teaching. My eyelids felt heavier and heavier. It couldn't hurt to take a short break, right? Just as I was about to close my eyes, an eraser flew at me. Out of the corner of my eye, I was able to see it and catch it.
"You should stop dropping your erasers everywhere. You never know where it might hit, " I said, tossing it back at him, a tired expression on my face.
"Perhaps if you paid attention, you would stop magnetically attracting erasers, " he quipped.
I glared at the half and half boy, slamming my head on the table, perhaps a bit too hard. My peers turned around to look at me after the loud bang pierced the air.
"Yumé, are you okay?" Present Mic asked, looking at means though I had died.
"Yes, sorry for disrupting the lesson, " I replied, my voice muffled because of the fact that my face was buried in the desk.
I heard him whisper something along the lines of 'I wish I were young again', before returning to teaching. Finally, the melodious school bell rang. My body perked up and turned to Uraraka. We walked out of the classroom for the noon break. I stretched my arms up while walking, making a disgruntled sound. While we were talking, Midoriya brought up the conversation of our motives for being a hero.
"Uraraka-San, what's your reason for becoming a hero?" Deku asked curiously. Uraraka let out a long and exasperated sigh.
"I don't have noble reasons like you guys, my motive for wanting to be a hero is money, " Uraraka explained.
The brunette explained to us about her backstory, and her parents were poor. However, her face lit up with motivation, looking up with a determined expression on her face.
"One day, I'll become a hero, and earn money so that my parents don't have to suffer even further!" she said, pumping her fist up in the air.
I smiled. Maybe it wasn't motivational like Iida's backstory. Maybe it wasn't noble like Deku's backstory. But in my eyes, Uraraka had an admirable reason. Helping her parents were also helping people, which I thought was heroic.
"Uraraka-san, I think that's a great reason, " I gleamed at her.
Uraraka, upon hearing my words, beamed back at me. The cute, bubbly girl I knew was back, but this time, I saw her in a different light.
"Please, call me Ochaco, "

I sighed. Everyone was working hard for the sports festival. I wanted to make the best out of this opportunity, but I wanted to enjoy it at the same time. I mean, who said I couldn't.
"Who would be best to train with, " I muttered under my breath in deep thought, my index finger on my lip.
Suddenly, an eraser hit my head. Again. I glared at Todoroki, whose hand was still in the air from throwing the eraser. I glowered at the culprit, opening my mouth to chastise him when suddenly, an idea hit me.
"Hey Todoroki, " I said, actually using his name to catch his attention.
"Do you want to train together for the sports festival?"
