I groaned, boarding the bus. I hadn't wanted to come for the trip, but was forced to either way, since the training camp was compulsory. Lugging my bag along, I boarded the bus, where I sat at a window seat, staring at the view of the school. As I gently plugged in my earphones, blaring music into my ears, I failed to notice Shoto sit down on the seat next to mine.
"We could be heroes, me and you, " I sang under my breath, still unaware that Shoto was staring at me curiously.
"What are you singing?" he asked.
I jumped up in shock, rummaging in my pocket for my pen and pointing it directly at Shoto's throat. The candy cane haired boy seemed unaffected by the pen pointing at his windpipe, even though the bus could jerk forward any second and lodge it into his throat. He slowly put his hands up in surrender, and I heaved a sigh of relief when I realized it was just Shoto. I lowered the pen, narrowing my eyes at him.
"What are you doing here? I could have stabbed you out of self-defense!" I exclaimed.
"But you didn't. I'm here because I want to sit next to you. Is that so bad?" he asked.
I put my index finger and my thumb together, pinching the bridge of my nose in frustration. Either this boy had no idea that he was being irritating, or he knew and was keeping up the act of being 'oh-so-innocent', which I was guessing was the latter.
"Yeah, but instead you sneak up on me and literally pop out of nowhere! You could have at least informed me of your presence, but nooo, you just have to be so spooky and creep up on people, " I fumed.
He chuckled at my anger. He dared to chuckle. I was furious. If he weren't my friend, screw it, if I didn't feel so warm and fuzzy about him, my hands would be around his neck and he'd be six feet under. I scowled at the boy, plugging my earphones back in and listening to another song. I felt a talking on my shoulder, which I ignored, simply staring at the unmoving view of the school. Finally, I turned around, irritated at the boy, and was about to scold him, when he interrupted me first.
"I'm sorry that I made you mad, " he apologized.
I huffed, crossing my arms. If he thought he could apologize and get away with it, he was damn right. If it were any other person, I would have slapped them out of rage by now. Instead, I smiled and accepted the apology, bottling up my anger for the training later. Why was I so angry today? Well... I was on my time of the month, and it was extremely untimely, especially with training camp starting.
I started out of the window, the view of the school getting smaller and smaller, until it was virtually nothing. I squinted my eyes in hopes that the school was not that far, but alas, it was gone from my sight. I sighed. Time for training camp, I guess. I turned back from the window, the music still blasting in my ears.

"What are you listening to?" he asked.
Frankly, he had never really listened to music, since his father thought that it was a waste of time, ultimately banning him from installing anything on his phone other than the necessary apps. But to see Sakura jamming her head out to her music, it made him wonder what he had been missing all these years. Sakura unplugged the earbuds from her ears, asking him to repeat the question, which he did so gladly.
"Oh, it's this song called Heroes by Alesso, " she replied.
To be honest, he had no idea what she had just said. At the same time, he was too busy questioning how her mood had turned around so quickly. Sakura saw the visible confusion on his face, as though he didn't know what music was. To be fair though, he actually didn't know what music was. She took one of her earbuds and put it in his hand. Telling him to give it a listen. She started the song from the beginning and waited for the boy to listen to it.
Shoto hesitantly placed the earbud in his ear, and flinched at the music blaring into his ears. Sakura lowered down the volume, apologizing sheepishly for not warning him. He finally put the earbud in his ear, and a melody started playing in his ear. After listening to a few seconds, he had already decided that he liked it.
Sakura's heart was beating so fast, that it felt like it was about to fall out of her chest. Shoto was using her earbuds, to listen to her music. It didn't help when Shoto's face lit up after listening to it, complimenting her for the good choice in music. Meanwhile, she was busy having a heart attack in all of her stuttering glory.
Izuku watched from behind. He wasn't the only one who realized how close his two friends were. Practically the entire class had realized how close they were. So when he oversaw the entire thing, he couldn't help me write it down in his notebook under Sakura's section. Ochaco heard the familiar scribbling and muttering, and peeked over at his notebook to see what he was writing. A mischievous smirk had spread across her face when she realized what he was doing.
Ochaco opened up her phone, texting the girls, minus Sakura, about the situation real quick. All of them made a secret pact to get them together, right while Shoto and Sakura were practically batting their eyelashes at each other, being so clueless. She took a photo of the two, giggling to herself. She meant to forward it to the girls, but her finger slipped, causing her to send it to the wrong group chat.
