Chapter 40.

These three words slapped me across the face. The end? What does that mean? Is she going to live or...?
"What do you mean the end?" I ask.
The person behind me happens to be the doctor.
"We have to end this. I'm sorry." Says the nurse.
"It's time to put her down." Says the doctor.
Put her down?! They're talking about her as if she was an animal.
"You can't." I shout. "I want to see her!"
"I'm afraid you can't." Says the nurse.
"Let me see her! Just for a second. I need to see her." My voice cracks while I scream. It makes it sound so depressed.
The nurse and doctor look at each other.
"5 minutes." Says the doctor.
"But sir. We need to get her ready! It's against the rules." Says the nurse.
"Go on boy." Says the doctor once more ignoring the nurse.
"Thank you." I say and quickly run to the very familiar room to me now.
All her stuff that she got of her friends and me are packed up in boxes.
"Hello beautiful." I say trying my hardest not to cry.
I take her hand into mine. I only just realised how big my hand is compared to hers.
"I know this is pretty much impossible but I wish you could just wake up... Right now. You can't leave me. You just can't." I say putting her hands close to my face.
"I know this is all my fault. I'm sorry."
Tears are now starting to run down my face.
"Ugh, I want to change what I've done so badly. There's no going back now though. There's no being happy without you. There's no me without you." I say.
"Time to go." Says the nurse.
I ignore her and hold Emma's hand tighter.
"It's time to go." The nurse repeats but louder.
I still ignore.
"If you don't go I will call the security." She says.
"I don't care." I shout out suddenly feeling mad.
They have no right to kill her!
The nurse storms out of the room.
Knowing that this may be my last chance I stand up and kiss her before the nurse and two tall security guards kick me out of the hospital.

"They can't do it!" Says Ashton.
"That's what I thought." I say.
"But according to this source they can't 'press the button' without the permission of a parent." Says Calum.
"Which means..." Says Ashton.
"That Oskar agreed to it." I say. "I know they had problems but is he really capable of just letting her die?"
