Chapter 44.

Those four words slap me across my face.
Kendra looks at me and back at Emma.
"Trust me, he's your close friend." Says Kendra as she leans in and kisses Emma's forehead.
"Right, what am I doing here anyway? Where's mom?" Emma asks.
Kendra looks down at the floor.
"You need to rest for now. I'll explain everything later." She smiles at her. "I think we should get going. I'll come and see you later on in the day. Come on boys."
She doesn't really want to leave. She just doesn't know how to explain it all to her. About her mother. About me.
"Oh, okay. Bye." Emma smiles.
"It was nice to see you." Bradley smiles.
"You too."
"Bye." I say.
"Bye." She smiles at me. I can easily tell that it's a fake smile.
As we leave the hospital we get stopped by the doctor.
"How was it?" He asks.
"It was fine." Kendra smiles.
"Fantastic! Is was actually starting to lose my hope but well a miracle happened you could say!" The doctor tried to joke but as soon as he realises that he failed he clears his throat and says again. "So have you got any questions?"
"Yes actually. She asked about our mother. She-she's dead. And Emma doesn't remember that. How do I explain that to her?" Kendra asks.
"You have to do it gently. However, if you wish we can get one of our specialists to explain it to her."
"I'm not sure about that." Says Kendra.
"Don't worry. They're specialists. They've done it before. She'll be in good hands, Miss Drew." Says the doctor.
"Okay then." Says Kendra.
"Lovely. Anything else you'd like to ask?"
Kendra looks at Bradley then at me and then back at the doctor.
"I don't think so." She smiles.
"Actually, I wanted to ask something." I quickly speak up.
I feel like all eyes are on me.
"Yes?" Says the doctor.
"She doesn't remember me at all. How do I get her back?" I ask.
"I assume you're her boyfriend then." He says.
I nod.
"You'll just have to make her fall back in love with you." He says.
I nod again and soon we all split into different directions.
Make her fall back in love with me? Does that mean she doesn't love me anymore? Or did she even ever love me in the first place?
I need some rest. It's only 6am. As soon as I get home I go to sleep.

It's a sunny day. Everything looks awesome today. It's such a positive day however at the same time I have this unsettling feeling in my stomach that just won't leave me alone.
I make my way down the park to meet with Ashton by the huge fountain.
We'll be writing some new songs.
As I get closer to the fountain I realise that there is many people there but only two people really stand out.
Emma and... Jack or Kyle I should say perhaps.
I start walking a lot faster. Soon I'm by their side but they ignore me.
"I love you." Emma laughs.
"I love you too." Kyle replies.
"Emma?" I say.
"Wanna come to mine." Kyle grins.
"Okay." Emma giggles.
They look so in love, like me and Emma use to be once... This makes me angry.
This makes me realise how badly I envy Kyle. I mean, I knew I really don't like him but now? It's a lot more than hate.
I try to push him but nothing happens. He doesn't even move. He just ignores me.
The next thing I know, I'm in a some house that I've never been in before.
It smells weird. It's very posh. It's just strange.
I hear two people loudly shouting in the room next to me.
It's Emma and Kyle.
They have a huge argument.
When I'm about to react and do something I hear and huge bang in another room which makes me almost instantly turn around. When I turn back around again Emma and Kyle are gone. I rush to see what made that noise in the other room.
When I finally fine the centre of the noise I stand still not being able to move.
In the middle of the room, from the ceiling there hung a thick rope and at the end of it there hung a lifeless body of... Emma.
Her skin is as pale as it was the day I first saw her in the hospitals.

I sit up in the bed in shock. It was just a dream. But one thing I know for sure... Emma will be mine again. This time, forever.
