Chapter 7 - You should be sad Halsey

The classes went by quickly, luckily, and I literally bolted the second I could. Ace following me diligently when I made it outside where it wasn't crowded I finally slowed Ace pulled me into him, "got out of there fast enough?" He teased I just flipped him off "you know just as well as I do those are the most boring classes ever!" I pouted he chuckled and pecked my lips I saw girls glaring at me I felt slightly uncomfortable considering I didn't know why they were glaring at me.

"You know I just realized something" I said as we were strolling he hummed in acknowledgment as usual not speaking too much one of the things I like most about him. "You never officially asked me to be your girlfriend" I said he paused I stopped and turned to look at him he was in pure shock I wonder why it's not that big of a deal, "you're right" he murmured. I chuckled at his face "will you Pixie Thompson do me the greatest honor and be my girlfriend" he asked holding out a earbud I laughed remembering when he asked me the first time I took the earbud and kissed his cheek "almost nothing could make me happier than to be your girlfriend Ace King" I said he chuckled "almost?" He asked amused raising an eyebrow I nodded "You haven't made me a King yet" I teased winking he chuckled "before college ends my dear" he said I laughed knowing he was teasing. We walked back to my dorm room hand in hand, joking, laughing, and messing around.

But I couldn't help but wish it wasn't a joke.

                                                     Ace's POV

We finally got to class but I hardly paid any attention knowing that there would be nothing important due to it being the first day I just stared at the beauty I am happy to call mine.

I swear she is way to fucking fast for someone who is barely 5 foot.  I followed her not letting her out of my sight at any point in time. She didn't slow until we were outside and away from most people I took her hand "got out of there fast enough?" I teased amused by her behavior she just flipped me off god she's adorable. "You know just as well as I do those are the most boring classes ever!" She pouted I swear I melted right there god I sound like such a fucking girl but when it come to her I couldn't give two shits although I didn't know how boring the classes were because I was too busy watching her. I pecked her lips quickly. I noticed her become slightly uncomfortable and I saw girls glaring at her I mentality rolled my eyes at them. We were walking when suddenly she spoke up "you know I just realized something" I hummed in response "you never officially asked me to be your girlfriend" she said I froze in shock how could I forget to ask one of the most important questions I could ask I mentality smiled. "You're right" I said " will you Pixie Thompson do me the greatest honor and be my girlfriend" I asked holding out one of my earbuds that currently was playing the playlist she had made for me before I left. She took it and kissed my cheek "almost nothing could make me happier than to be your girlfriend Ace King" she said I chuckled but on the inside was panicking almost why the hell did she say almost was there something or worse yet someone better? I decided to play it off "almost?" I raised an eyebrow in false amusement she nodded "you haven't made me a King yet" she said I felt a huge wave of relief and joy at the fact she wants to take my last name. "Before college ends my dear" I said she didn't believe me she thought it was a joke.

Oh my little thief it is far from a joke.

Sorry for being so late on updating I've had major writers block thus the really short chapter I'll try to update soon also sorry for all the mistakes I'm feeling really lazy rn probably because of lack of sleep and loads of stress but I apologize anyway. I also apologize for it being so short this is the shortest chapter I have published
