I run. I run as fast as I can to his house. I can't let him leave. I can't let him leave here right now like this.
When I get to his house I see what looks like his mom packing up the car. She closes the trunk when Kason comes out with a frown on his face. He can't leave.
"Kason!" I yell so loud my voice echoes.
He heard me. He had to. He stopped all movements. He just stood there like a stone. He wouldn't even look up for a second.
I walk closer to him. His mom looks shocked on what's going on. She's knows about me. I have a feeling.
"Kason" I say out of breath standing right in front of him.
"You can't say things like that to me" I say my voice calming down from running.
"I don't want to be your friend. I don't want you to leave but I can't let you not go with your mom. I don't want you to leave my side. I don't care if you lied your special to me too." I say panting looking at him trying to get a reaction.
He stands there not saying anything. It breaks my heart so he didn't want to talk in person. He wanted to write on a piece of fucking paper.
"I can't make you talk to me. I can't make you do anything you don't want me to do but please don't leave me like this" I say in a low voice almost on the verge of tears.
I walk away. I walk away for good. We still had a paper and pen to write on. He would write to me I would write to him. We could text, FaceTime whatever. But he chooses not to talk to me.
I was way beyond the yard when I heard my name.
"Harley wait!" Kason yells running to me from the sidewalk.
"I don't want to leave like this either." He says walking quickly over to me.
He quickly grabs the back of my neck and smashes his lips onto mine. This kiss was different it was full of passion. It was full of pain. He was leaving and I couldn't stop it.
I tug at the back of his hair. I moan into his mouth and tightly pushing on his shoulders. This was fire. It was the wildfire running through me. It felt fucking amazing.
He pulls back slowly and kisses me one more time. I was out of breath again but this time it wasn't from running.
"I'm sorry. I really don't want you to be scared of me" he says shaking his head.
"I would never be scared of you plus I like you too much to let you go" I say wrapping my arms around his neck.
"I have to go. I'll be gone for three days then I'll be back. I won't leave you for long" he says pulling away.
"Yep..but um.....I think your mom kinda saw all of that" I say pointing behind him.
"Shit...I guess now she knows I have a girlfriend" he says shrugging his shoulders.
Wait did he say girlfriend. Your his girlfriend now. What?!!!!
"Girlfriend?" I say smirking and pulling away from his grip.
"Yeah girlfriend.." Kason says smiling with the twinkling eyes he wears.
"I don't think you asked me Kason?" I say creasing my eyebrows.
"Right...." he says chuckling.
"Will you Harley Vine be my girlfriend..for better or for worst?" He says laughing at the last part.
"I Harley Vine ask you to be my boyfriend" I say putting my chin up.
"I will Harley..but will you be my girlfriend?" Kason asks pulling me closer.
"Yea definitely...is it even a question?" I say kissing him.
He could leave like this but I didn't want him leaving at all.
"It's only three days Harley" I say to myself as I see him get in the passenger seat of the car and drive off.
