Kason's P.O.V
I watch the sky get darker. The sun going down. I was leaving Harley. The girl I loved since I saw her. I didn't want to be her friend ever. I wanted to be more. But now I wouldn't see her ever now.
I couldn't believe I would think to break up with more importantly that she started those rumors. My mom knew I loved her. She knew what it felt like for the love of her life to leave them behind. She left my dad behind.
"Honey it'll get better" my mom says shaking my shoulder while I was leaning my head on the window.
"I just never felt like this." I say under my breath barely audible.
"It'll get better" she says putting her hand on the wheel that was touching my shoulder.
I was leaving Harley when I knew I didn't even give her a chance to say I love you too. I feel like an asshole that was leaving.
It's cliche. But I didn't like it.
"Just going to be new right?" I say sighing looking out at the window.
My phone starts to ring. It was my older brother. Why was he calling?
"Hey Josh" I say into the phone.
"Hey I was coming over to the house..but no ones here but a really upset girl...she said her names Harley?" He says confused into the phone.
She was there? But her life seemed so much better without me in it. She needs to be happy without me. She will be. I make it happen.
"Hey bro you still there?" He asks into the phone.
"Yeah um I don't know her..but me and mom are going now so I suggest you get going buddy" I say sadly into the phone.
"I'm on it..by the way I told the girl to leave...you sure you don't know her?" He says again into the phone.
"Yeah I'm sure" I say again sadly.
What the fuck are you doing Kason? Just remember her life is going to be better. It's going to be ok.
Then I see the sign for Idaho. I was already to long gone from my home.
Harley was my home and I was leaving her.
